Stayed here for 2 nights during the middle of the heat/humidity in Seoul, had booked 5 nights but decided a hotel was best for us.

Everything was clean and comfortable, and was easy to get to other places around the city. But with the heat as bad as it was, we opted to get a hotel where we could adequately shower and cool off, the guesthouse didn't have great AC and the showers were a bit awkward with the tiny towels.

I'd imagine this guesthouse would be perfect one the weather cools a bit!

I've stayed here many times and it's one of my favourite hostels in Seoul. Located in Itaewon, an easy five minute walk to the centre, it's near loads of restaurants and shops, including some delicious Thai places. The dorms are clean though not very spacious, it offers a simple breakfast with hot drinks available all day, nice staff and a cosy communal area. Highly recommend this hostel.

Location is about 5-10 walking distance from the heart of Itaewon (decent, but most other hostels have a better location).

I think the price is high for what you are getting (or rather not getting).
-The showers/toilets/washing areas are meant for both males and females. Not very clean.
-The 6-bed dormitory is actually a hallway leading to 4 private bedrooms. The only thing dividing the 6-bed dormitory and the 4 private bedrooms is a curtain. I stayed in a private room and had to pass through (probably disturbing) people sleeping in the dorm. Keep in mind that Itaewon is a party town.
-I paid around 25,000 won (~$28) for a private room and the room is literally the size of a single bed. The length of the room is the exact length of the bed and the width of the room is the bed plus enough room to wheel one carry-one luggage inside. Yikes. This would be fine for ~$10, but not what I paid.
-Breakfast is not included.
-Located on the 4th floor (no elevators, tricky to find)

I guess what you are paying for is the location which isn't even the best compared to other places.

Unfortunately, I wouldn't stay here again mainly because I have stayed at better hostels in Itaewon that were cheaper.

Tricky to find at first. Look out for the pig/Mona Lisa painting and you've found it. Host was very welcoming and helpful. Bunk beds are a bit small if you're tall like me but that's most of Seoul... Wifi is fast and reliable and there is a nice chilled area to work/watch a movie if you have a big one on the town at the Itaewon clubs which are all walking distance.

I've stayed here several times. It is located just upwards from the Hamilton hotel in a less bustling part of Itaewon. There are several types of rooms to choose from - I prefer the apartment style rooms behind the main building. Situated close to many good retaurants (indian, mexican). Downside is - they offer free tea/coffee and toast - but only in the main hostel area. Other than that - wonderful friendly service.

Room Tip: If you want to socialize - main hostel. If you want a quiet room away from any noise - private room in one of the separate buildings.
