I have stayed at Hotel Esta on two occasions and am yet to be disappointed. The rooms are not fancy and don’t have much of a view, but they are generally quiet and comfortable.

The staff are helpful, and speak good English. WiFi is good for Myanmar. And the included breakfast is really good.

Hotel Esta is not too far from downtown Yangon, a short and cheap taxi fare. It represents good value for money.

Stayed at Hotel Esta on the first and last night of my 6 days trip to Myanmar. A simple, no frills hotel with basic facilities. However, the wifi was free and connection was good. A number of eating places nearby the hotel and easy to get around. Breakfast spread was simple but each person can order a main from the menu. Staff were friendly and helpful. I'll recommend this hotel for the cost.

This hotel is well located for the main attractions of Yangon. While the rooms are basic, the service was excellent and the quality/price ratio good. Would recommend for all leisure travellers - room facilities limited for business travellers.

Having stayed at the Esta for 10+ work trips to Yangon, I've been really happy with the no-frills, value for money accommodation and consistently good service. It's a short taxi ride from the centre of the city, the rooms are a great size, clean, all with A/C and good hot showers. If possible, I would recommend requesting a room on one of the higher floors, and at the back of the building, to reduce noise from the road. One of the big positives of this hotel is the staff, who are always so helpful and accommodating.

This is a no frills kind of city hotel, located in Chinatown in the downtown district. The location means its a good starting point to wander around Chinatown and onward to the colonial district, while also being close to the biggest open air market of Yangon.

The hotel is basic, but does what it should, with fresh shower and bathroom, a decent bed, and with friendly staff. A good place to stay for a few nights while saving money. Breakfast and Wifi is included, but basic, but again, not bad at all.
