We only stayed one night but enjoyed the good location of this charming hotel. Good effort put into room decoration offering a nice blend of authentic and modern. Rooms were clean as you would expect them to be. Staff was helpful but very basic english.

The Loft Hotel is better than what I expect. Starting from reception which is very friendly and warm with all the staffs equally friendly and helpful. Rooms are spacious, comfortable, and well decorated and designed. Functionally simple but elegant at the same time. Elevator is available, unlike some boutique hotels where you will have to negotiate steep stairs with your heavy luggage. Food from Alex Restaurant is superb with very attentive French Chef from Lyons. Decoration at Alex Restaurant is of very fine taste, fusion between western n local decoration. Food is superbly and impeccably prepared but yet with very reasonable price. What else can one expect?

This is an excellent conveniently located hotel, lovely air conditioned rooms, absolutely fantastic staff that could not be more helpful. Alex's restaurant offers an excellent evening meal. Have stayed here before and will stay here again.

Room tip: Have stayed on first and second floors both quiet

The Loft was the first place we stayed in Burma and we couldn't have had a better landing. The space is sleek and modern, with really comfortable rooms (good A/C), super friendly English-speaking staff, and a fantastic location in downtown Yangon. We loved the little touches like the L'Occitane toiletries and the photos of local people in the room. The Loft is located really close to some of the most highly-recommended restaurants and cafes in TripAdvisor, as well as a famous local market, the Bogyoke Aung San Market and the Yangon Railway station, where you can hop on the circular train. It was also pretty walkable to most of the sights in downtown Yangon, as well as just a short taxi ride away from famous sights such as the Shwedagon Pagoda. I also liked that the hotel featured products made by local cooperatives and artists. It made it easier for tourists to buy fair-trade/local products that they might not have known where to find otherwise. Food was great although a bit pricey.

Room tip: We loved the L'Occitane toiletries in the room!

After having been to Yangon for about a dozen times over the past 17 years and having stayed at quite a number of guesthouses and hotels, this was most pleasant one. Of course not the cheapest, but if you want to relax a bit after travelling, this is the place. We stayed in a Maisonette Junior Suite with a view of the nice courtyard, so no comment here about the rooms with street view.
All employees and the manager were extremely polite and helpful and we can only confirm the other positive reviews.

Room tip: Try for a room towards the courtyard.
