Clean, spacious rooms. The hotel is close to the airport. We were exhausted from our flight, so we went to the hotel restaurant for dinner. It was delicious. We would happily stay here again. They also provide a free ride to the airport when departing.

We arrived very late in the evening to the High Five Hotel and still received a lively warm welcome. The room we had was a good size, very clean with a nice bathroom. There was a hairdryer, fridge and mini bar stocked with drinks for a small extra charge. Breakfast was good the next morning and the staff were helpful in getting us a taxi to our next stop.

We chose this as close to the airport & only about 10 minutes away. We arranged airport pickup via email beforehand but somehow they weren't there so called them & they were there in 10 minutes ($8 USD), maybe high for Yangon but it may be tricky for a taxi to find this place. Once there, check in was friendly & smooth, were given a cool drink & cold cloth, nice. They took our bags to the 2nd floor, no elevator. Room was clean, okay size,2 singles that could be pushed together, TV with a couple English movie channels & BBC, AC, mini-bar, kettle/tea, hair dryer, safe, wardrobe, desk area with stools, stand for one bag, good lighting, free Wi-fi, shower, extra toilet paper, soap, shampoo & towels. First floor is smoking, second floor is non-smoking. Room 202 had a view of a tin wall about 1 metre away but only there for 16 hours so no problem. No charge ride to the airport in the morning as included in the room rate.

They have a resto & sell water, beer, cup of noodles in the lobby. Breakfast is included and was a buffet of fried rice, noodles, fried egg, bread/toast, jam/peanut butter/nutella, coffee/tea, cereal/milk. There might be more Western options if you request the night before at check in.

Overall, clean room close to the airport, friendly staff & would stay there again for a night if needed in transit.

Room tip: There are 2 rooms at front with a street view so ask for them, maybe you'll get lucky.

This hotel does what it says.

It’s an airport hotel and is mainly used for overnights or short stays before onward travelling.

Got a taxi from airport to hotel. The hotel will advise approx cost so you know in advance how much it should be. They also send directions in both English and Burmese so you can show the drive if he is unsure where it is. It’s about 15 min drive during the day as traffic is mad. About 5mins late at night or early hours.

Welcome cold juice on arrival. No lift in hotel but they will carry bags to room. Room was like Travelodge style for those that know this chain. Clean, perfectly acceptable with tv with U.K. or English channels.

We had a free afternoon so visited War Cemetery from hotel.
Staff were pleasant and helpful. Decided to eat in hotel as we had an early start in the morning. Food was perfectly acceptable....all very casual and not fine dining but not bad. Didn’t know the area so didn’t want to go pounding the streets looking for food.

Early morning call available. Taxi back to airport is free.....hotel pay the driver - just make sure you know which terminal.

Overall this place was perfectly acceptable for a short stay.

This hotel is a fine option for an overnight stay near the airport. Our room was on the 5th floor and note that there is no elevator. However, the liftboy took up our baggage after we arrived. Both room and bathroom was clean, also quite modern looking. There are some English channels on TV. Staff is very attentive and the manager (or I suppose it was a manager?) could speak good English (the other members of staff didn't always seem to fully understand us, but is a common problem in whole Myanmar. We also had dinner in the restaurant which was quite tasty and prices were reasonable. We were not impressed by the smell when we opened the fridge, so we didn't even dare to use minibar. We read on TripAdvisor before that when you order that you want English breakfast at check in, you can have one instead of the Asian style breakfa1st (since it was our last day staying in Myanmar, we hoped for something European....). The manager told us we indeed could have it, and that it includes cheese omelette, bacon, hash brown and beans. The unpleasant surprise came in the morning, when we were served fried eggs (no cheese omelette at all, and they were even too dry), NO bacon (well, it is the most important thing about English breakfast, isn't it?), rather cold hash brown and some beans in tomato sauce that were ok. We complained we were told to have bacon, but we only heard "sorry" and that was all. So the only 3-ingredient-English breakfast really didn't have much in common with English breakfast... Last thing to mention, the Uber from the airport cost us only 2500 kyat, so do not choose any expensive taxi option, I think the taxi should be 4000 kyat in maximum. The hotel arranges free taxi transport FROM the hotel to the airport upon your request.

Thank you for your valuable feedback. Our staffs should make sure with your
breakfast and mini bar. Sorry for this inconvenient. We deeply apologize for this
inconvenient during your stay.

Our staffs should double check with your breakfast to be warm. We are really sorry
that you had your breakfast cool. To prevent this, we retrain our staffs to double-
check all kind of food. We are going to make a new mechanism like placing hot
sticker notes in the plate.

Please allow us to serve continental breakfast rather than English breakfast. We
could only provide Asian style breakfast for all guests but we try our best to serve
the continental breakfast for guests who travel around Myanmar more than one
week and tempt to have something European style breakfast. We are sorry that we
could not fulfill your wish list within our budget. Before we served bacon and cheese
omelet but now we could not afford to provide bacon anymore. Bacon is pretty
expensive and price of bacon is going up and up. Those list that you described were
served long time ago. Lots of foreigners prefer scrambled eggs rather than cheese
omelet. So we update our breakfast menu accordingly. We no longer serve bacon
and cheese omelet for a long time. Therefore our manager always makes sure with
kitchen, receptionists and guests whenever guests check in. It is possible that you
may get confused with the reviews of other previous guests on TripAdvisor. We
were also surprised when you looked for bacon next morning although we had
confirmed with you our new breakfast menu and available items when you checked
in. Bacon is not in our new breakfast menu list anymore. Thanks for raising this
issue and your experience. To prevent this kind of misunderstanding, we are going
to use a breakfast form for guests to read our available items and check items that
they want to have (for example: cheese omelet, sunny side up eggs, scrambled egg
or boiled egg).

We really appreciate for your valuable feedback that could help us to improve more.
