I traveled to Palau in September 2024. I rented a car from AVIS and they gave me a coupon for one free complimentary item per rental. I decided to use it at L'Amarena Gelato Shop located at the 2nd floor food court of the Surangel’s Supercenter Airai.

I received one scoop of Mango Tango and Ube (Purple Yam) Royale. The mango was free but I had to pay for the Ube. This was my first time having Ube. I loved both the Mango Tango and Ube Royale Gelato. Both were good. I set in the food court, finished my gelato and then went shopping in Surangel’s Supercenter.

Gelato is awesome in a waffle cone.

This is a real gem in Palau. Fresh made daily flavors of gelato, pastries, coffees, etc. Friendly owner and a bright, cheery atmosphere. Definitely a must see!

The L’Amarena Gelato shop serves fantastic gelato with excellent coffee and hosts. A must visit when in Palau. You will not regret it!

A group of about 8 of us walked to this store to get gelato. When we arrived we discovered they had already closed. The owners (sorry I can't remember your names) were at their home next door and noticed us outside. They reopened the shop for us to serve us. The gelato and pastries were excellent and I highly recommend this shop if you are in Koror.
