Very peaceful garden cemetery and well kept . Free to enter , mosquito repellent will be good especially during the went season lovely place . If you have a relative buried there you can inform the Cemetery keepers and they are able to assist in locating the grave of the identified relative buried there .

Was rated highly on trip advisor; hence I visited.

Amazing the number of people who died; if you are of common wealth descent then i would recommend.

Very clean and well maintained. Worth a trip if you are passing

If you need to use a tour guide I would recommend this guy.

This is a must see when in Port Moresby. Very well maintained and I was very impressed.

A bit away from the city centre, but worth the trip to see. Thanks!

If you want to pay your respects to the fallen and the brave in PNG this is one place to go. It is not a tourist attraction, but a place to take the time to understand history and pay your respects.

The history of Papua New Guinea is so much more than you can imagine. If you can take time to learn about this, you may wish to then visit the men that made the greatest sacrifice to their countries. It is a peaceful and touching place. The heron flying between the head stones, the butterflies and call of tropical birds gave it a most beautiful setting. I was lucky enough to hear the sing sing of traditional tribal song somewhere in the distance, it drifted over the cemetery like a hymn of respect.

I am not sure what Alfonso M is trying to say, but he obviously misses the point of this place and the many others around the world. I would be more than happy to educate him, but maybe he should be grateful he has the freedom to use Trip Adviser and freedom to have an opinion.

Well maintained memorial honoring the fallen. Easy access from Port Moresby. In my view, one of the highlights of the Port Moresby area.
