The place has all rude and un mannerly staff.

Just a few nice ones.

They all try to scam visitors.

They do not provide any of the services they claim a d advertised.

I stayed a week, was horrible.
The rooms are old and uncomfortable.
Bed Bugs plenty.
To this date, im being treated by a dermatologist, and has many nasy bite marks and black itchy spots.
The towels they use are ones they grab from their travels.you can see the different names of the places the towels came from.
Old and thin, and you cannot get any extra.

Its best to take you own towels and toiletries.
There are many nicer hotels in Georgetown, that provides better overall value for money.
I will write to the ministry of tourism and Public Security to address sime of my concerns.

Visitors to Guyana should research this hotel, before booking.

They demand cash up front, then treat you like garbage.

I woukd not recommend thus place.

Well located and great food at the restaurant. Morning breakfast was reasonable.

Sure, a bit noisy at night but that is to be expected in a centrally located area.

Room was decent and the air conditioning always worked. The shower was nice too. Not the hot water some might want from home but enough to make it fantastic if you've been to the interior of the country.

The bar-restaurant staff were exceptional.

Very nice pool.

Wifi was slow - just like everywhere else in the country so not a big deal.

A decent place to stay. I'd stay again.

I have been put up here so many times by work and I cringe every time.

You are the luckiest person if they even have your reservation when you arrive - normally they have no idea who I am even though I have stayed over ten times and call frequently in the run up to my stay because I know what they are like.

The single rooms are an insult for the price. The double rooms over the pool are nicer. The ones at the back (above the club!!!!) are nice but a joke.

Each time I have stayed there has been some sort of rave or orgy going on in the room adjacent. With Guyanese returning from America (with Hennessy and bling) this seems to be the place where you prove how cool and rich you are by hanging by the pool, leering over the women and cursing at full volume regardless of who is around.

If I was paying my own money I would never stay here!

I always stay at Sleep Inn at Brickdam which is centrally located to historical cites, the markets and Stabroek Square.

As usual, the property is kept very clean. In addition the staff are very helpful. Thank you Sherwin, Fazeela, Shenel, Johanthan and the rest of the Crew.

Draw backs, hot water is an issue in the mornings and evenings. There is lack of hot water and if there is hot water, it last for less than 3 minutes. . I was very unhappy not to be able to enjoy showing at those times.

The internet is also an issues. Its always up and down, meaning on and off. I should be partially refunded or compensated for this.

With the VAT added to the hotel, an average AC room is 75 USD or more, no longer the budget hotel.

Great local and intl breafast also is a plus.

The bar staff, drinks and food were good but front desk and breakfast staff lacked personality. Everything was at their pace and no rush. You felt you were intruding. Rooms were clean, some a bit cramped but ok. Pool area was nice to relax by. A little out of town but probably quieter as a result.
