Previously called as Viceroy, since the take over- google map was not fixed took us a while to find that Viceroy hotel and Yas hotel (Marriott) is same.. GPS pin was wrong too...

All day dining has no a la carte, buffet was 225 Aed however buffet selection was halved than my previous visits! Service in the restaurant was below average, staff ask us to go to buffet and get bread, as we forgot to pick the bread with our soup.. one one veg soup... no fish ( my colleague don’t eat beef) .. instead was two beef dishes... desserts selection was poor!! Arabic mezzah had no Arabic bread available....

Due to low occupancy, one restaurant was closed!

No healthy food options!

Staff are far from Marriott service culture, front desk agent ( russian gentleman) was not helpful- we had Hongkong dollar, made no affords to help us to change to AED...in Marriott staff goes beyond to help.....

Pool side looks dead !!

Hotel feels like haunted! We felt stuck in middle of nowhere! I think this hotel has life only during formula 1... thought Marriott will make the service bit warmer- instead service still feels like Viceroy!!

I will not recommend this hotel!! Abu Dhabi has much better hotel at this price!!’

Back to the yas to break up the trip from scotland to australia. Pleased to say fabulous stop. Everything you could ask for friendly attentive staff. Great restaurants and great location. With warner brothers opening soon should be even better.
Only negative point will be etihad airlines stopping flights from perth to abu dahbi so wont be easy to get to

Excellence barely represents the standard of service from the wonderful staff and management team at the Viceroy. Accommodation is faultless and attention to detail is clearly the hotel's focus. We had a fabulous, well equipped room which overlooked the race track and marina and was serviced twice daily. The staff throughout the hotel were an absolute delight, in particular William and Trixie who selflessly invested their time engaging with my son on all things relating to F1.

Loved, loved, loved this place and will definitely be returning next year.

Grateful thanks to Greig and his team for making our holiday so memorable.

Yas Viceroy Hotel is one Hotel where I’ve always wanted to stay and finally I got the chance. I can’t fault anything tbh - from check-in to check-out our (me & my sister) stay was amazing. The staff are very helpful and can’t do enough for you. There’s a few staff members that actually go above and beyond; I’m sure it’s part of their job but for us it was that little bit extra. Shish from poolside was very attentive, we went to the pool just before midday which meant no alcohol or food till after 12pm. Fair enough, wasn’t a problem at all but Shish remembered exactly what we wanted for food and drinks and brought them to us after the clock struck 12 *hahaha*. His cocktail that he made himself was amazing; don’t know what he called it but it was very refreshing.
Suk and William in the lobby were always there; Everytime we wanted to go out they’d make sure taxi was there waiting so we didn’t have to wait in the heat (July heat).

Their restaurants are all beautiful. Never got a chance to eat at Amici (Italian) but a few people staying at the hotel said it was amazing as if yur in Italy, so abit gutted that I didn’t eat there as i do like Italian food. Had dinner at Angar (Indian), the decor is beautiful and lush - food is really nice & lovely but on the pricey side. If you’re going there I recommend the “Kerare Phool Gobhi” (Spicy Cauliflower) in starters. It was mouth watering. Enjoyed sheesha in Atayeb Lounge which atm is known as “The World Cup Tent”. Huge screen with live football. Sheesha is by far one of the best ones I’ve had in a long long time.
A brilliant experience. Yas Hotel, keep it up. I’ll be back in November for the F1 weekend.

This hotel has amazing customer service. The rooms were big and well equipped. The views were lovely, we were upgraded as it was our first visit. Whenever we asked for something is came promptly from room service/house keeping. The room was very clean.
