I booked two tours online with Haz and Jehad at the Jordan Tower Hotel during my stay in Jodan. One was a shared tour visiting Jerash and other northern sites; the other was a private tour to the Dead Sea and the Panoramic Centre. My queries were answered very promptly and both tours were arranged to meet my specifications. Both drivers I had were on time, safe and spoke English. The price of the tours was very reasonable and I would not hesitate to recommend this service for visitors wishing to book tours from Amman.

We had an excellent stay at Jordan Tower. The rooms are simple, but comfortable. We arrived late at night and met Jihad, who helped us to settle in. He gave great recommendations and organized our side trips to Wadi Rum, Petra, and the Dead Sea. The drivers associated with the hostel were wonderful and very helpful. The nightly fee at the the hostel includes a large breakfast each morning, which was a perfect way to start the day (particularly during Ramadan, when food was not widely available until 7pm). As two young women traveling alone, Jordan tower was a safe and comfortable base. We recommend going to Hashem falafel down the road.

I took a tour to Dead Sea, Mount Nebo and Madaba with Iyad Jaradat. The review relates only to the tour. I totally enjoyed it and Iyad was phenomenal. Spoke understandable English, quite knowledgeable, funny and mannered. The car was nice and clean and was driven well. Iyad gave some useful tips too.

The best thing about the hostel is that it has a great location, literally next door to the Roman Theater. The rooms are basic and, at least ours, very noisy with the traffic and a mosque nearby calling for prayer at 3 am. We stayed in the fourth floor (no lift) in a room with private bathroom.

Very good option if you are looking for a central location without spending too much money.
