Wow! That’s all I can say. If you are in Tel Aviv and you don’t try it, you’re missing something special. Get it with everything on it! You won’t be disappointed.

Old school falafel joint is way better. I don’t get what all the craze is about. They have less salatim, the pita is not great and the falafel is standard at best.

As a highly rated place with ques almost any hour you come, i just never came around eating there until now. Fun food but nothing special....definately a scene. If possible have one person spot and save a table for the rest. Fast turnover....

Since being diagnosed as a coeliac (allergic to gluten) i have no been able to experience the simple joy of a shop bought schwarma or falafel in pita with all the salads and stuff. Hakosem not only made this possible but they also made it delicious, such to the degree that I went 4 times in a 10 day trip!

GO GO GO!

Hakosem means magician. This place is well deserving this name. Locals flock here at lunchtime, and sometimes an occasional tourist, who wil pleasantly blend within. The falafel is superb and so is the Humus and Tehina, and other accompanying sauces. Portions are lavish. The service extremely efficient, constantly cleaning the tables available to the guests.
A real israeli joint. to be experienced. a Tel Aviv star.
