A very charming hotel in the heart of the German colony. The rooms are moderate size equipped with a desk , TV and soon to be refrigerators. Some rooms have small balconies. Management and staff are responsive to issues. It’s not s large chain— for all the pros and cons that go along. Enjoyed our stay and will return

This is a beautiful boutique hotel in a nice, quiet neighborhood in a central location. I was with a group and we had 4 different rooms. Some of the group had no problems. My room, however, was on the lower level, below the lobby. The rooms was decent but a little musty smelling and dark. Around 5am for at least an hour it was really noisy. I don't know if it was people checking out or the kitchen staff arriving and getting ready but there was loud foodsteps, conversations, etc. and no one seemed to realize the time and that they might be disturbing sleeping guests. The included breakfast was excellent - a variety of great options. However it got very busy and there were times when guests came in to eat but had nowhere to sit. Or found a chair but the place settings were incomplete or not cleared. They seemed a little unprepared for the number of people. I would recommend requesting a room on an upper floor. Our friends who had those rooms had no problem with noise.

Room Tip: Don't get one of the rooms below the lobby.

We stayed at the hotel one night in March. The hotel is located in a quiet street and very nice surroundings for entertainment. The staff is welcoming. They enjoyed the rich breakfast and magical atmosphere. Highly recommended.
