Had a great business lunch with a friend.
It is a decently affordable lunch (first and main course would cost between 65 NIS to 150NIS) particularly since the setting is of a high end restaurant and the food is exceptional!
The service was pleasant and the chef was gracious enough to come and say hello.
The dinner menu is around 30% more expensive but nevertheless it is still most recommended, definitely one of the best kosher restaurants in Israel.

For us, Jerusalem is all about tasting the local flavors, enjoying the street food, and doing food crawls in the Shuk. Once in a while its nice to enjoy some fine dinning. We went to Angelica to celebrate my sister-in-law's birthday, and were rather impressed. The menu is not huge, just a bunch of excellent dishes that they do well. It was nice to get cuts of beef that we could not get in the States. The wine list is long and varied, and even included Blue C from Covenant, which we enjoyed. If would want to treat yourself or your friends and family to a fine dinner, this is the place to go.

Stylish 'in' place. Seared tuna with black garlic cream was beautifully presented and delicious. The house beef burger, not an obvious choice but recommended was good. Lamb shoulder filled with spinach and chestnuts very good. Excellent glass of Israeli red wine.

There aren't many fine-dining places left in Jerusalem. Gabriel is now gone, 1868 has become a disaster. Angelica hangs on; excellent, creative cooking, fine wine list, pleasant atmosphere. Highly recommended.
