We ate here on New Year’s Day since it was very close to our hotel. Luckily it wasn’t as busy as the other evenings so Jacob had time to talk. He even showed us a new video of some new archeological events that were just uncovered and some history of the restaurant. The pizza was good and was great to have something just casual to eat. So friendly

Our guide took us to Jacob's Pizza after visiting the Holy Sepulcher. It's small but the people there are friendly and the pizza is very good. We had pepperoni which didn't taste like it does in the States, but it was tasty. They even have gelato, and a bathroom for customers!

I love this little hole-in-wall pizza place just inside the Jaffa Gate of the Old City. If you get a little tired of Middle Eastern fare and are still wanting to experience familiar, authentic cuisine, then this is the place for you. They serve pizza by the slice and two pieces are large enough for a normal meal. I always have two slices of pizza that are most like our U.S. pepperoni. My daughter got the cheese pizza and she loved it, but each of our friends seemed pleased with other pizza selections. They also have several large salad options, but I’ve never tried one because I’m there for the pizza. Soft drinks are sold in cans, seating is limited (about room for 30 people) and the price for two people is about $25 US. To get there, enter the Old City through the Jaffa Gate, take the first street to you left and Jacob’s Pizza will be immediately on the left side of the street. I’ve been to Jerusalem four times over the last 8 years and each time I make this place a must stop on my last day.

Jacob's Pizza is located just inside the Jaffa Gate and right beside our hotel, New Imperial Hotel. The pizza is sold either by the whole pizza or by the slice. The four of us got ours by the slice. They heat each slice up in their oven before servicing. The Diet Cokes were cold and tasted great after walking so long in the city. Service was friendly and fast.
