Read about this restaurant on Tripadvisor so booked a table, it is of the beaten track somewhat, depending where you are staying.
We sat outside surrounded by flower baskets, waiter promptly took our order after describing the food and wine to us, we had three courses and a number of free small appetiser and a free arak drink from a fellow diner who we got speaking to.
The food was wonderful as was the local wine and the Chef joined us on numerous occasions for a chat and before we left gave my wife a big hug as a show of genuine friendship.
Wonderful evening

I spent a week in Jerusalem and tried various restaurants. The Eucalyptus was far and away the best venue of them all. The fresh pita and dips to start were delicious. The lamb dishes were amazing and the cauliflower appetizer was incredible! Good wine too! The location was great in the artist colony near the Jaffa gate and the Mamilla Mall. The staff was very friendly and made good recommendations were excellent!

We enjoyed a a great dinner in the courtyard in front of the restaurant. The wine list was nice and the Middle Eastern specialties were not something we can get at home. We enjoyed a beef with tamarind sauce, a freshly baked bread with various dips, and a duck pastilla (spiced duck in a puff pastry). Service was very friendly.

We came here with a large group. The food is amazing. All spices are those mentioned in the Bible. Service is friendly. Meal was served family style and there was plenty to eat.

What an amazing array of culinary talent. As a tour guide, I come to eat here regularly. Located just about 2 blocks outside of Jaffa Gate, this collection of Israeli and Middle Eastern delicacies. Wonderful food, wonderful atmosphere.
