This hotel is relatively old. Was the best hotel in town 30 years ago, but many new hotels popped up since

That said the hotel was rennovated (still in process as a matter of fact as the main dinning room was rennovatted when we were there) and gives good value for money.

Hotel is very centrally located. Walking distance to the sea and all main shopping malls.

Rooms were very nice. The hotel offers evening service which is unusual for this standard. Hotel bed and bathroom were nice. The room has a marble floor rather than a carpet which is unusual but perhaps cleaner.

Evening dinning was ok with the big unusual bonnus of free tap soft drinks and beer in the half board option. Breakfast was average in Israeli standards (which is excellent in international standards..). They can improve by shortening the lines to the espresso coffees service and upgrade the bread sector.

Overall a very good experience

The hotel is large, not modern, the staff is trying to do its best
.Huge breakfast though a bit overcrowded. Standard rooms are rather small but the bed is comfortable. The swimming pool area is very nice and the location is great.

This is a very attractive hotel in an excellent location. Facilities and room were lovely and the view from our 10th floor room was superb. Staff were mostly good. However, they had an unsupervised apprentice on reception who often completely failed to understand our questions but insisted on behaving as if he did instead of asking for help. Very frustrating. Either he needed more training or more supervision. At breakfast the restaurant was very busy and noisy - maybe understandable in a large hotel but not restful. The buffet food was good with plenty of choice and, if you wanted, you could fill your plate very high (we didn't). For some inexplicable reason, getting two or more hot drinks at breakfast required waiting staff service and was both slow and labour intensive, We couldn't understand why the food was so easy and plentiful but simple hot drinks just the opposite. A shame a great hotel was let down in these silly ways.

Room tip: Higher floors have better views and are a bit quieter at nights - but they cost more.

Booked a room on 10th floor ( kings- can use executive lounge). Room was a bit shabby and bathroom needed some repairs. Executive lounge excellent.
Dining room big and very noisy, which was very disappointing as we had expected to have breakfast in the floor below(-1) in one of their restaurants. This wasn’t available and was a source of complaint.
Food in dining room was ok, but nothing special .Breakfast was disappointing.
Diner was marginally better. The waiters were surly and unwelcoming.
Reception staff were pleasant but most were apprentices and weren’t familiar or confident about their job.
The indoor public areas are in a bit of a time warp but the pool area is excellent.

We have just come home from Eilat and stayed at the Isrotel King Solomon Palace. It was great as usual as we have been there many times. We stay on the Kings floor and use the lounge . It’s great as you can eat and drink all day. They have upgraded the hotel and around the pool. It is now at least 4+ nearer 5 star. We flew straight to Ovder Airport with Wizz Air . The flight was good but the only thing that was disappointed was the timing of the flights.
