Hop On Hop Off tour was very nice. İ will advise to anyone who wishes to see beauty of İstanbul. Sİnce other companies are always overcrowded Den Tur Avrasya was not so busy. Boats are pretty new.

We wanted to explore the Bosphorus, so we decided this hop on-hop off tour would work best for us. It only cost 15 TY, which was great. The boat was clean and comfortable, and I'm happy to say that the Orange Juice Man (mentioned in prior reviews) now announces the price of the drinks while he's trying to serve them to you. Progress! The staff at the ticket office weren't very helpful in explaining the tour to us (language barrier?), and I think we should have done more research before going. I hope the information shared here helps you when you go on this tour.

The boat begins at Kabatas seaport. The next stop is Besiktas, where you can get off and visit Dolmabahce Palace and Ortakoy Mosque. After that, you will pass the beautiful Rumeli Castle, but there are no stops nearby, so unfortunately you can't see it up close, which is pity because it seems to be one of the highlights of the Bosphorus. The next stop is Emirgan, which looked like an expensive tourist trap with lots of cafes and swimming pools. Not the place I wanted to visit. But if you like, you can get off there and go to Emirgan Grove, which google tells me is a historic public park. At this point the boat crosses the Bosphorus and starts going along the Asian side of Istanbul. We would have liked to have seen Khedive Palace (Hidiv Kasri) but it's not on the path of the ferry, it's inland, and it's not open to the public. The next stop is the port of Kucuksu. You can hop off there and walk around Anadolu Castle and visit Kucuksu Pavilion. After that, the ferry stops at Beylerbeyi and you can get off there to see Beylerbeyi Palace.

If you decide that you want to visit some of the palaces on this tour, do some research beforehand. Some palaces are not open every day, and some are closed mid-day or as early as 5pm. The staff at Dentur Avrasya did not offer any information about opening hours and admission costs to these places.

We took a tour departing around noon. Beware of the man who comes to give you drinks and bread to have on board the boat that has lovely seating on top.

We thought it couldn't be free so when he came to offer us we said no but he gestured to have them so we asked how much. He didn't reply but again gestured like take it and put one orange juice for me and one for my husband. We thought it might come with the service of the boat and thought he's one of staff on this boat that has proper organisation so he couldn't have tricked us! Then he insisted giving us breads which we actually refused but he placed them on our table. We notice he did this to pretty much every couples and families on board. Then he came around and pit tea on our table saying "try, try".

Then when the boat is arriving in Emirgan which was where all of us were getting off. He started going around to take money from people. Everyone looks very unexpected and the big family behind us said "we thought it was free!".

He came to us, again doesn't speak much English, but just "money, money" repeatedly. We explained to him that we have already asked him how much but he didn't say anything. We have even refused his offering! He kept mumbling in Turkish to us and we kept explaining to him. He waved like it doesn't matter. Then he came back to us again a few minutes later again saying "money, money". I asked if we can speak to a captain or someone for help. He gestured to take us downstairs to talk but my husband decided we should just get off since we already arrived so we did.

He followed us off the boat. Then started to brush my husband's shoulder still asking for money. We still refused. I again repeatedly said we have already asked you, please don't cheat us. He then pushed my husband and my husband pushed back.

It was really unprofessional and terrible experience for me. Especially when we know that it's a hop on hop off and we are very likely to see him again. We noticed when we hopped on to other boats that the seating is more like a typical ferring boat and no table like the one we took. Also the man selling actually has money in his hands and he takes money before people buy which is what you would expect.

We are very disappointed that a proper ferry organisation like this lets this staff tricks people on board like this and he was aggressive in the end we could have called the police!!!

We joined the Bosphorus hop on hop off boat of Dentur and can recommend this to everyone. See the palace where the last 5 sultans stayed and cross to the Asia side of Istanbul. We had lunch at the first stop in Asia and paid less than 60 T lira for two orange juices plus a plate of shrimps and a grilled sea bass.

As the boats are an hour apart we hustled back and got off at the next stop for baklava and black tea.

Starts close to Kabatas metro station and at 15 tl per head it is good value.
