Lovely and bright palace with a beautiful wiev of the sea. Time stopped literraly, all the beds and cupboards look like they are still waiting for new inhabitants. Sadly no pictures allowed, so take time to see it, so you can remember it.

Almost missed out on this one because it wasn’t covered in the Museum pass but a friend convinced me to go and am so glad I went!
So far in my travels, Schönbrunn Palace in Vienna had been my favourite. This Palace just topped it.
Entrance is TL60 for the whole palace or TL40 just for the main part. Take the one for the whole Palace; it’s worth it.
Security clearance was quite efficient as was the issuing of tickets. If you have purchased ticket online, you can skip the ticket line and go straight in.
You can get that Audio guide thats included in the price for non-tour groups at the entrance. You need to give your original passport/drivers licence or else EUR100/USD100 as a deposit per Audio Guide. It’s very informative and automatically starts at different trigger points throughout the Main Palace and the Harem section. At the Paining (Art) Museum, you can swap it for the relevant Audio Guide (make sure to get it back).
If you’re doing the whole Palace, plan to spend about 4 hours here. Unfortunately pictures are not allowed inside the buildings (although I saw many who snuck a few). The Palace is next to the Bosphorus so you can also take amazing external pictures.
If you didn’t buy the Museum Pass and are trying to decide between Topkapi Palace and this one because of time restrictions, I’d say go for Dolmabache Palace. It works out cheaper and is magnificent!

Historic and memorable area. The notification system is very good. Old bookmarks and old writing are very beautiful. The architecture is very fascinating ... it's so spectacular, historic and attractive, full of historical beauty. We go and these beauties stay
