Another ancient museum I saw. I'm not much of a historian and archaeologist, but seeing all these valuable monuments in one place is very memorable. I advise everyone to go there.

If you like history and storical artifacts , the time waiting on the line to get a ticket is worth it ! If you decide to go to Istambul to check museums, buy the Card to access all the museums without waiting

I visited here with family. Not sure of the entrance ticket price per person, as I used a museum card.
Was a great experience.

In one word : Amazing !
Floating back into history at all stages, eras & civilizations. The area extent of the old Otoman empire helped diversify the content of the museum.

1-Main building is under renovation but some part of the collection exhibited,
2- Eski Sark Eserleri Muzesi; Artefacts from Mesopotimia Asur and Hitites imperia. Come to this museum to see the first peace treaty of the world between Hittite and Egyptians written in 1269 BC. Other artefacts like Ishtar gate from Babylonia. It is a must in Istanbul
3-Tiled Pavillion built in 1472 AD now serving
as a museum where outstanding Turkish ceramics are exhibited. Bring your camera ( no flash no tripod )
