The rooms are large with all the basics you’d expect, but there are no special extras that usually come with this price range. English is spoken to some degree by front desk people, but room service, for example couldn’t understand English which made ordering difficult. Little things like the electronic room key always failing was frustrating. The hotel is located well away from the city centre and is a not that pleasant 30 minute walk into town.

I have visited for concerts and conventions. Great place for events. I do recommend getting in earlier before showtime because the road is pretty much one way to the entrance can get quite congested .

A little removed from the city centre but a well appointed hotel with great facilities and restaurants. Rates were competitive. Easy walk to black markets and local restaurants and shopping. City centre a couple of km away- easy ride in taxi or the UB version of Uber....stand on side of road and put out your hand. In no time a random driver will stop, negotiate a price and off you go. Safe and easy

Hotel room was large and the bed was comfortable. Carpet looked quite old and worn and some of the lights didn't work, details of the room were worn and/ or non-functional, etc. the air conditioner didn't work, and though I asked 3 times on 3 successive days, nothing was ever done about it. the breakfast was pretty good, and the exercise room was adequate, but in general found the lack of response to requests for light bulbs in light sockets and somebody to take a look at the AC to be the main knock on the hotel.

Traveled for business in September 2017 on my first ever trip to Ulaanbatar and only stayed here as the seminar I was attending was in this hotel. The hotel is fairly basic and to some extent looked worn down. The room was spacious, however the decor and amenities were basic. It was cold weather, especially at night, but I couldn't get the room heater on despite several attempts on my own. The conference room facilities in one of the smaller rooms were also basic. Location is not very central, but then the city is not very large so getting around wasn't much of a problem. Breakfast spread was very limited, so not much to write about it.
I hope the owners are able to upgrade/renovate the rooms.
