We stumbled across this on our first day and had a late lunch of a panini, a beer and coffee. The panini hit the spot but frankly anything would have as it was 3pm. The pastries looked divine but I didn’t want to spoil our dinner.
I kept this little gem tucked away in my mind in the hope we would be near it when the timing was right and on our last day we needed a wee pick me up. What a coincidence we were in the street where this place is! One pastry filled with chocolate, almonds and creme patisserie, and a large beer quaffed alongside it. The pastry was delightful and it crumbled away beautifully. I’m glad it’s our last day as I would have found more excuses to go there!
Enjoy, you won’t be disappointed and the setting is very pleasant indeed.
