Our family booked two rooms and the hotel arranged for them to be next door. The rooms were very comfortable and clean. The beds were great. All staff were extremely helpful and the breakfast wide ranging and satisfying. The location was good for sightseeing trips and although only there for a day we were able to see two major sites. We would certainly stay there again.

This hotel is a little dated. The room was clean but the complimentary slippers were dirty and well used! Large choice at breakfast but tables were large so not ideal for a couple. You have to find your own table which was not set up with cutlery and tablecloth was dirty. A disappointing experience. We went to the sky bar which had great views but smelt a bit musty.
Location is good as walking distance to citadel and market.
The reception staff were excellent. As we only had one day here the very friendly receptionist advised us on the best sights and organised a car to take us. The driver was friendly and informative.

Stayed here for 2 nights in Feb 2018. I'd stayed before in 2015 and was keen to return. The sky deck was closed because of the weather but the hotel hadn't changed although some work being carried out on the foyer area. Room was comfortable, clean and everything worked. Bathroom shower a bit dated but worked perfectly well. The location is really good, plenty of local and tourist eateries within a couple of minutes walk. Legit cabs are usually available but ask the door person to get you one. 20 mins across the bridge and turn right to the market. 20-25 mins should get you to the citadel or if it is hot and humid get a taxi....$2. The breakfast is tremendous, take plenty of time to view what's on offer and enjoy! Great value (room 1016 or 1006) river view.

Room Tip: Go for a higher floor for the views/noise

Our room was great! The bed and linens soooo good! We had drinks on the rooftop restaurant - the most amazing view!,,, beautiful. Our dinner was average - but the service and view made up for it! Ann, the front desk hostess is amazing and really showcases this hotel. She is always looking out for the customers best interest and provides impeccable customer service; the best we have seen in the long time we have been traveling. We would recommend the Midtown Hotel for your stay in a Hue. Thank you again Ann.

Room Tip: Highest floor with river views

Had a lovely stay in Midtown hotel Hue. Phoung Ang was so helpful to us from the moment we arrived. She has beautiful English and made us feel so comfortable in the hotel. She gave us great advice for exploring the city and where was best to eat and even organised a driver to bring us along the Hai van pass when we were leaving. Our WiFi was briefly not working and she got it fixed immediately. Nothing was too much to ask her.

We decided to go to the spa for a massage which was a bad decision. The beds smelt musty, there was furniture or something being moved on the floor above making so much noise for the whole treatment. The treatment included sauna and steam room however both were turned off when we were there, we could have waited for them but we were freezing from the cold rooms and could not wait. The massages themselves were also terrible, the worst I have ever received anywhere.

This is a pity because the hotel was nice and clean and comfortable and Phoung Ang was such a great help. Would stay here again and not go near the spa.
