Do not pass this museum up. Take your time as you go from room to room learning about Vietnam. The best time to visit the museum is late morning.

I found it very interesting, with a lot of photos and details. Excellent. They were certain parts that they were very moving.... and emotional, specially the one with the orange Agent. Museography could be a little bit more modern and interactive. Overall a great visit, and everyone should go to understand the recent history of the country.

I love old aircraft so if was worth the entry cost to go and get up and close to the few that were on display, there are some tanks and similar military equipment on display as well, the main building I am sorry to say is not worth reviewing, it has mainly printed posters and pictures from the conflict showing one aspect, or version, its set on a number of floors, but the friend and I gave up after a couple of floors - overall, Vietnam does not really put a lot of effort into its museums relating to the conflict - maybe its a good thing that the war is starting to be forgotten with time, but I think they could build museums to contain these valuable artefacts and protect them from the weather conditions to preserve them for future generations, so yes, if you want to blow and hour looking at aircraft and tanks, cool, but don't force yourself if your are time restricted.

This place offers a sober , harrowing reminder of the awfulness of war in general but of Vietnam’s long history of struggle against French colonial rule and then the devastating American War as people here refer to the war if the 60s and 70s .
It’s a provocative place and stirs strong emotions. It recalls political strife , barbarity and protests around the world including in the USA and then those who still struggle with injuries from chemical damage and unexploded munitions .
Not an easy visit at all but one that records monumental strife here in the very recent past .

Sorrow and tears.

Americans did not learn to better themselves after the atrocities against the indigenous of America and Mexico, the genetic programming to be this savage is still in their genetic makeup and written in the Declaration of Independence; history repeated in their savage nature, the White and Black American military.

But Vietnam is lucky to not have had the majority of their population whipped out; it was a war but not to take and occupy, Vietnam was lucky not have suffered the levels of atrocities as the indigenous peoples of America and Mexico.
