We were looking for a decent place to have Indian food and tried 2 places before coming here. The food was good, we enjoyed it, though air conditioning was not working.

The worst Indian food I have had in Ho Chi Minh City. Dry rice and way too much oil in my butter chicken. Will not recommend this place.

I love Indian food , but this one doesn't deserve high marks.
Papadum as starter (I ordered 2 pieces - got only 1) came with the main course.
Chicken tikka masala, cold chicken, in a sauce that was overwhelmed by the bell pepper. Garlic naan was thicker than a slice of bread, raw dough on the inside, and no garlic taste at all.
Very limited choice of non-alcoholic drinks, besides the usual lassis, but not even a soda on the menu.
Slow service, had to wait 10 min just to ask for my bill.
Definitely not worth going.

We had been in Vietnam for nearly two weeks eating almost exclusively Vietnamese food, so we thought Indian would be good for a change.

Six of us shared butter chicken, mutton curry, vegetable biryani, garlic naan, laccha parantha, and rice.

The curries were excellent - well balanced spices and with the mutton curry, tender meat instead of the gristle so often served in this dish. We mopped up the last remaining sauces with our naan and parantha.

For the six of us the bill was a modest VND 316,000.

We wanted to visit Baba's Kitchen and found it closed. So walked to Taj Mahal, inside a small lane. It's a very tiny restaurant serving decent Indian food. The rotis were good, however the portion of the gravies were too small.
Service was okay. Worth visiting if you have no other option to go to.
