Offering not too many dishes, we went for 2 deals: veggie noodles and roasted duck noodles, with a Mango smoothie.
The place is quite small, with only a handful of simple wood tables. The service is good and willing.
The dishes themselves were among the best we had n Vietnam! crispy veggies, the roasted duck was very well seasoned and fried, and the spices were just the right taste.
And all this- for only 65,000 Dongs per person! That's less than $3!
I loved it and will get back there the next time in Hanoi.

Excellent food and great!

Service:
The service was great! Considering the quick turnover of the tables, I watched closely how efficient they were. The wait staff worked well together to get people seated as soon as a table opened up. We were sat down right when it was our reservation time. We were served water right away and another person came up to tell us the specials of the day. Somebody always checked up on us throughout our entire meal. That's what makes for great service!

Food:
We ordered the roasted duck noodles with sesami sauce which were part of the daily special menu. Soooooo good! I'm glad we went this because it was cooked just perfectly! You get a bowl of noodle with 3 different types of vegetables, crispy roasted duck ... The fried onion that topped it and ground peanuts that was drizzled over it and a quail eggs made this bowlvery flavorful!!! Loved this bowl for sure!

I also ordered the" Mango storm "DELICIOUS DELICIOUS DELICIOUS! The mango shaved ice was flavorful and not overwhelming... the portion was very generous too.The owner told me that the mango was in season and the ice cream made from 100% fresh mango.that explained the sweetness of the shaves ice and a scoop of mango sorbet on top.did I mention that the dish also have a side of a panna cotta?it was YUMMY!. You have the option to get a different topping , but I would definitely recommend the panna cotta .

My friend ordered the hanoi storm This came with 5 kinds of traditional hanoi "chè" and a fresh coconut ice cream on top.It was an excellent choice and cooked accordingly. I was impressed at how perfectly the ice cream complement the chè. We do wish we ordered the ice cream in a pot instead but the hanoi storm was amazing nonetheless.

Probably our least favorite was the lemonade green tea portion .The plain lipton tea with 2 slices of lime just didn't excite us. The lime was too bitter,It didn't complement the tea and was overpowering. We ended up pouring honey in it .

Minus the minor things, this place is amazing overall! I can't wait to be back and try their other menu items. I'm already planning to try the lemongrass chicken and other flavors storm.

Walking back to my hotel, I was looking for a smoothie. I picked up a great one at American Storm: very fresh and food safe. I'll have to go back for a shave ice, but in the meantime, this is my "go to" place for smoothies in Hanoi. Be sure to give it a try!
