I came to Hanoi for a business trip and stayed for one night. The staff told me that there was no room at the original location where I booked due to some flooding issue in the room. I agreed to change to Icon 36 on Cua Dong Street, that is supposed to be a nicer and bigger room. However, the room condition was horrible: bath room with mold all over the place especially around the bathtub area, rusted metal parts, yellow lighting that made the bathroom just nasty. The room smelled stuffy and humid. Closet doors were broken that could not be open. I called to front desk to complain and they changed me to a room right nextdoor. It was a smaller room, slightly cleaner, bathroom has a little bit mold in certain area and has some drainage smell, cheap lighting in the the room with liquid stains on the two lanterns, TV with no clear images and not very clean bedsheet. All in all, the room was not up to a standard 3-stars-hotel. I felt cheated with this horrible room condition comparing to the price they charged. The only positive thing about this hotel is its location which is close to the old quarter. I definitely would not come back, there are better options for the same price.

We had one night at this hotel for business trip in Hanoi in April. One good room, cleaned, but no view and noisy at midnight, i didnt sleep. However, all things is good, and a la carte breakfast as a plussion point. One thing, its a hotel in central so you can move easier for visiting and shopping. Thanks all

Their location is strategic. So we can go around Old Quarter with walking. Nice place to stay in Old Quarter, Hanoi. Not crowded. Nice and friendly people. Their service is good. They can speak english well and always help us to find great and delicious food in Hanoi. Thank you guys.

Very comfortable & the staff are very friendly & helpful. The location in the old quarter is central everything is within a 10/15 minute walk. Breakfast is very good. The rooms are clean & comfortable my only wish is that the mattress was softer- hard mattresses are very common in Hanoi.
