This place is not serviced by slick, staff with good English, that you find in some of the more touristy streets. The staff have enough English to communicate with everyone. The menus make it easy to order as they are in English and Vietnamese. The food is fresh and tasty. Food also arrives quite quickly, although it was not really busy when we visited. I had heard the Vietnamese pancakes were very good and was not disappointed. Came with the usual rice paper, and a huge plate of lettuce, and mint to top it off. The food was not the bland westernised version of local food you get at more tourist orientated places, but was genuinely tasty. Nice cold, fresh lemon drinks as well, and very reasonably priced. Yes you may get cheaper at some stalls on the street, but this was great value. Highly recommended.

We came here as a group of 9 all with varies food allergies and vegetarian/meat choices and the staff were so accommodating and friendly (we're a mix of vegetarian, pescatarian, gluten free and diary free!). The food was delicious and being able to sit a floor up from the busy roads with the lovely lights and lanterns was amazing. My mum and I came back for lunchtime the next day and the lemon juice was divine - so refreshing.

My tofu and vege noodles cost 70,000 dong and the beer was around 30,000 I think so good prices.

We had wanted to go to Bun Bo Nam Bo at 67 Hang Dieu Street, but chanced upon this quaint little place patronised by lots of locals. We checked out the menu and copped a place at one of the wooden tables, seating ourselves down on the low wooden chairs.
We ordered the fried spring rolls (they needed us to order a minimum of 3 rolls), the bun bo nam bo, and grilled shrimps. The fried spring rolls came with greens and noodles to be dipped in the fish sauce. The grilled shrimps (a little spicy) were on skewers, presented in a wooden basket. A little dish of dipping salt came with it. We enjoyed the dish very much. The Bun Bo Nam Bo came in a big bowl. Not too bad, but a little dry.
We shared our table with a friendly American Chinese couple. They ordered the seafood pancake which looked delicious.
This place gets crowded fast, but do not fret. There are more seats up the stairs.

Actually i think the food is just like street food, but you do not have to sit on the street bending your legs sitting on very low chairs. you got proper restaurant setting where you can sit comfortably. some staff does speak English. they use a computer to generate the bill, which is a plus.
great taste, nice environment, reasonably price, what more can you ask for.

Good Bun bo nam bo, but we found better the next door on the left pn the street. Big Advantage is that you can eat inside and avoid moped noises near to your plate:)
