My family and I (wife and 3 kids 16, 13 and 9) did the overnight stay here and loved it! The experience of walking around with free-roaming elephants, buffalo and tons of dogs was incredible. The staff were great. We had some much fun and learned a great deal while helping and interacting with the elephants.

The food and accommodations were also very good. Great vegetarian buffet meals and nice rooms with decks that look out onto the elephant shelters. Pretty unreal.

This was a great and eye opening experience. Highly recommend it.

What an amazing 2 days. Probably the highlight of our 2 weeks in Thailand.
Accommodation was nice, our own chalet with bathroom and a balcony looking onto the elephants sleeping enclosure.
Great staff and loads of good vegetarian Thai food (+ obligatory chips).
Good practicalities - they picked us up from our hotel in Chang Mai.
All of the above means nothing though given you get to stand next to, feed and wash happy and free elephants. Free from years of bad treatment in circuses, giving elephant rides and logging.
Sat having lunch I forgot where I was and turned round to see about 3 groups of elephants going about their business. This place has changed my thoughts totally of how wild animals, including elephants are treated. What was particularly stark was seeing people riding a baby elephant on the neighbouring park when there are elephants with broken backs here from years of giving people rides.
An amazing opportunity, life changing.

It is a way to travel but well worth it. The park is dedicated to preservation of asian elephants and deserves all the attention it can get. So take the time to go.

Visited the elephant nature park on the short day visit. Book early as the full day was booked out months in advance. Our guide Smile was really lovely and new all the answers to our questions. Incredible eye opening experiance definitely not to be missed. Plus you still have a wonderful day getting up close and emotional with the elephants without needing to ride them. Lunch provided was delicious and plentiful.

It was as amazing as every person who has been reviewed it as. The elephant was well train and you can tell it was part of the locals' culture. The elephant were sweet and talented. I suggest buying a bunch of sugar cane and bananas because they love it.
I always went on the bamboo raft and ox cart also. Great experience
