We recently stayed at the Rembrandt Hotel in Bangkok one Friday night and decided to stay in the hotel to dine, opting for their Rang Mahal Indian restaurant on the top floor. This was one of my best decisions on the trip as the food, experience and staff were all excellent - this was some of the most delicious and exquisite Indian food I have ever had, with a stunning rooftop setting to match (try to get a table near the large bay windows or outside on the terrace, weather permitting).
We opted for a whole range of foods of which every bite was fantastic - in particular, the raan-e-Khyber lamb leg was melt in the mouth delicious, and the paneer tikka the best I've ever had, period (I want to return to Bangkok just to try this paneer again!). After dinner, we had some cocktails on the outdoor terrace, with great 180 degree views of nearby neighbouring Sukhumvit. After so much good food, we welcomed our short walk back to our hotel room - we will definitely return next time we are in Bangkok.
