It is a beautiful place where one can choose between inside or outside. The service is great! The garden is so nice where one can watch peacock, swans, fish etc. We had crispy salmon trout and the duck on a waffle as main dishes and had apple flute and chocolate mousse for desserts. Everything was very tasty and every dish was beautiful presented, - and I who have a very sweet tooth could not be happier than I was with this chocolate mousse. The prices are reasonable for such a wonderful place. We were so happy to have found this place!

We visited this place with friends on a sunday early afternoon - atmosphere is cozy - old garden with fountains filled with swans and other nice birds, two white peacock poor hold in cage...
The gardens are cozy, and shadowed by nice trees - surrounded by high buildings, so basically always in them shadow... you have to like this, its special, but not everyones taste...
Food is poor considered to relatively high pricing, service is nice but not really competent....
maybe we will go there again for have a nice draft Chang or Singh Beer, but definitely not for food....
the waffles and the served combination of fish or duck is definitely not to recommend !

Dear khun Naphatcha,
Thank you for visiting us. It sounds quite awful about the "dishonest" part. We as management really do need to know more in detail to investigate this issue. Could you please let us know when and what time did you visit? Or please kindly drop me an email at emmy@thegardenspalace.com
And I will make sure the "dishonest" part be investigated if there is any.
Kind Regards,
Emmy

We spent a good time here for our Christmas lunch. We are happy to find this place with serene, cozy environment. The white peacock are beside us in glass room entertaining us while we dining.
The outdoor garden is beautiful with Christmas decorations.
Its abit pricey but with beautiful setup and good service, we feel it’s worth to pay.
The western food are not too bad. Suggest to have some fusions menu in future.
We will come back again.

First impressions: Online reservations was a breeze. Make sure you reserve especially during festive seasons as they would be fully booked. It's a little hard to get here from Siam Square because of the traffic. The place itself was pretty, like a garden, but it was smaller than expected. I had been to The Fern Forest Cafe in Chiang Mai (which I loved), and I would say The Gardens is a little dated compared to. And smaller in size too. The maitre'd was a little stern, especially since she thought we didn't have reservations, and the place we dined at was slightly dingy. I wish we had dined in the main area. But the place is beautiful, with swans and lights wrapped around the trees.

Food:
1. Angel hair crab meat: OMG the amount of crab in the pasta was insane. The noodles itself tasted of crab broth with tomato. If you're a fan of crab, this is a must try. PS: The portions at The Gardens is huge, so it can be for sharing if you're with family or friends. 5/5
2. Half BBQ Pork Ribs: delicious... falls off the bone. The BBQ sauce was tangy, and the meat was just... super... tender... succulent... yum... 5/5
3. Mushroom & Onion Pizza: unexpectedly good. One of the best pizzas I've had. The mozzarella was abundant and stretchy, the pizza was balanced. A great appetiser. 5/5
4. Spinach ravioli: vegetarian but even meat lovers would love it. The pasta is fresh and seems handmade. 4.5/5
5. Fresh squeezed apple: the name delivered. You get what you ordered. Sweet and refreshing. 5/5

Overall, I was quite skeptical about eating European food in Bangkok, but I must say... the food was elevated. Come here for the food, it's so worth it.
