Dear rosyap

I would like first to thank you for taking the time to share your concerns regarding your visit at the ibis Bangkok Siam hotel.

Sadly, I learn about your unpleasant stay due to the unfortunate issue that occurred with the air con.
Your valuable feedback, has been shared with our technician team since the issue occurred and was fixed accordingly.

Unfortunately, the services were not up to your expectations, therefore our Manager on Duty took immediate action to recover your satisfaction. An alternative to be upgrade to the next door Mercure hotel was offered with complimentary access to the pool for a total of 4 nights stay.

In spite of this unfortunate situation, it is nice to know that you enjoyed our bellmen dedicated service and I have personally addressed your compliment to the team.

Again, we hope you will give us the opportunity to welcome you back to the ibis Bangkok Siam and better serve you.

Kind regards,
Raphael Hirsch

Agoda hotel cancellation email was sent on the 27Jul19, 8.27am while we were already in BKK for business to leisure for almost a week before this. It was to our total disappointment to first book this hotel, and when check-in on the late Sat afternoon, no room was available for us. They leave us strangled at the hotel lobby to search & make the international calls for ourselves on the next possible nearby hotel, with no help offered. The front office was not busy with any customer, and yet could print the cancelled email to show us that they had informed. I was so frustrated but remained calm to salvage our accommodation issue with minimum time wastage.

Not kind of interested anymore to find out how are the rest of facilities. Ibis maybe a budget accommodation per se, with bare minimum to the price we pay, yet it is a hotel - a service orientated industry which we do not see or feel to return!!!

Dear glennsf04,

Greetings from the ibis Bangkok Siam.

Sadly I read about your disappointing experience and I was very concern to know about the unfortunate situation.

While we are obviously disappointed to learn about your unpleasant check in experience ; allow me to remind you that since the reservation process our team did communicate with you to inform about the credit card issue. Since the hotel did not received confirmation from you the reservation was cancelled by the agency indeed.

I acknowledge that your experience does not reflect the valuable level of services that we provide to our guest. However I hope this unfortunate circumstance would not diminish the trust that you have in our hotel; and you will give us the opportunity to welcome you back.

Kind regards,

Stayed here on 22nd July, location is amazing with only a 3 minutes walk to MBK Mall, and hotel location is in front of BTS National Stadium. Easy access to a 24 hours 7 eleven to get your daily things. Standard room for the hotel is quite small but enough to get a good sleep. Friendly reception who allowed us to check in at 11AM, which is hard to get from a city hotel.

The location is of course our strength, the hotel is located right in the hear of the city center and withing walking distance from the major shopping malls. Plus, the convenient access to the sky train station in front of the hotel to discover the city along is definitely advantageous.

IBIS Siam is just right next to the BTS National Stadium station. It is clean and comfortable. The room is a little bit small, but in Bangkok it is good enough. The staffs esp the cleaning ladies are very polite. The hotel is close to big shopping malls such as MBK and Siam Square. There is a laundry in Kasem San 1 Alley just 3 mins walk from the hotel. The Yelo Cafe near the hotel is cool. There is a very good currency exchange called "Siam Exchange" around the corner of the Bangkok Art and Culture Centre (BACC), remember to bring your passport for currency exchange. The Chulalongkorn University just nearby is the best university in Thailand. Worth visit.
