This is a beautiful place but also a place of worship so the usual dress code and etiquette apply. It is a peaceful place, despite the number of visitors. A place to see and visit.

The Buddha here is made out of 5.500 kgs of solid gold and is very impressive to see. Not too much people here, but we were early.

Once again you need a good tour guide to fill in the history. We had from TourAdviser, Ms. Alice Hong. The Buddha figure is solid gold and weighting tons. It is magnificent. Could find any word to describe it more vividly. One has to see it to believe it.

Beautiful statute. Amazing size for solid gold. Definitely worth the visit. You are allowed to take pictures inside the temple and there are some vendors selling souvenirs. Not sure how parking would be if you're driving yourself. Fortunately, we were on a private tour and had a guide walking us through and a driver in a van who could swoop in to pick us up. Definitely the way to do it unless you are staying nearby and can walk there.

This temple is a must visit given the fact this there is the largest solid gold Buddha in the world in thuis temple. There is also an interesting museum tour along with the temple
