Overall, a very good hotel. The location is good to get to some great restaurants and its close to the BTS to get to other attractions. So many great restaurants, massages and convenience stores around. There's nothing that you could need that isn't there.

The room is very clean and modern. The hotels itself is also clean and lovely. The staff was kind.

The wifi is horrible. I wasn't trying to FaceTime or stream videos, I was looking up a place on google maps and reading restaurant reviews on TA. Honestly, very slow.

Not all rooms get breakfast so make sure when you book if you're getting breakfast. Also, when I was there, the pool was taken over by very rude, unsupervised kids. They were spitting, running and throwing bottles of sunscreen (which broke and blew up in the pool). I don't expect the hotel to supervise the pool but maybe they could keep an eye on the security cameras. They did talk to the parents though about the situation.

Also, it is close to the red light district. That being said, I never once felt unsafe or uncomfortable. Also, when reading about the area, I did see the Dawin listed as one of the hotels that allows its guests to bring in their "Thai companions". I never asked the hotel either way. I was a little surprised by this cause it's truly a really nice hotel. I did see one hotel guest escort his new "friend" to the hotel entrance. It didn't bother me any but it may sway your decision one way or another.

The hotel is ok, good value for money, reasonably well furnished and clean. The real issue here is, however, the location. It is right in the epic centre of red light area with bar girls minimally dressed scouting for customers just across the street. Absolutely no no for families with kids. Couples, definitely man traveling alone, may find the area nice and lively at night. If you are a man looking for action then this is the place for you.

I did not know what to expect having never been to Thailand before but this hotel would do well in London. It was spotlessly clean. The room was really nice with great shower in bathroom. Air conditioning was on 24/7, There was a minibar and safe in the room. It had blackout curtains and there were loads of drawers and storage in the room. The area is obviously suited to single travellers and I would never take a family there.
I came and went all times of the day and night and always brought a guest back and that seemed to be what everyone else was doing. The staff were always nice and greeted my guests nicely. I never heard any noise from anywhere. The room was quiet and peaceful.
The only negative I could find and it is not really a negative is that I had a smoking room (which I booked) and the windows did not open. But the aircon kept the air moving and it was not a problem I am just struggling to find any negative.
If you are a single traveller this is in the perfect area.
Nana Entertainment Complex is 5 minutes walk away but you might have the same problem I had. That is you have to pass about 50 bars on the way all full of friendly ladies. I rarely got very far.
Great hotel. Great Area.

Room tip: Just enjoy and do not be shy

so the location of the hotel is great and it offers rooms at a competitive price point and the rooms are good, clean , good amenities and helpful staff but know that this hotel is right in the main ' pleasure district' of bangkok. it was a bit of a surprise to us when we came , its located in nana which is the lane for all the naughty stuff! we were sort of taken aback when we realized this but the location is so central that we sort of didn't really care eventally
