This is a perfect hotel for anyone who is travelling alone or with a family. It's also great for business individuals. Rooms are super cute, clean and compact. Bed is really comfortable. They also have a really nice pool (i have attached some photos). It's is right bang in the heart of the city. Its walking distance from all the big malls. It has a busy street around it, filled with restaurants, street food and bars.

Room Tip: They have really nice rooms. It depends on what you are looking for.

The Citadines Sukhumvit 23 is perfectly located, close to transport, great bars and restaurants/Cafes, you can walk to the Terminal 21 shopping Mall, there are plenty of Massage Parlours nearby with Soi Cowboy five mins walk away.
The Hotel itself is clean comfortable with large apartments and great facilities providing excellent value for money, I love the roof top swimming pool, there is also a Gym and a laundry for visitors to use, the Coffee Club Cafe located on the ground floor serves delicious food, the outdoor area is a wonderful place to sit for an evening drink.
Both the Hotel and the Cafe staff are wonderful always willing to help with prompt and courteous service, there is even a tour booking service in the lobby which provides a professional service with wonderful tour options, I always use the Citadines Sukhumvit 23 when I stay in Bangkok.

A short walk to Terminal 21 and close to several restaurants as well as the infamous Soi Cowboy, this place still offers a quiet respite from the buzz of being in Bangkok. I would definitely stay here again.

Stayed 3 nights in a Studio Executive room. Decent, well equipped kitchen that I didn't use, but the cooking odors in the hallways indicate that others do. Room was decent for the money, but a little quirky. The shower stall is separated from the toilet by only a shower curtain. Water pressure was fine, however. Over the sink is a nice sized medicine cabinet for your stuff, but lighting there is awful. If I was a woman doing makeup, I'd be unhappy. Staff was great & helpful, but you're pretty much on your own if you want to arrange sightseeing. For the money, location is okay, but you'll do a lot of walking down narrow streets, not well lit at night. Others have mentioned massage parlors across the street. If you have a sense of humor, it'll be fun. If not, you'll hate it. I don't think I'd bring a family here, but the massage ladies seemed to enjoy talking to kids, even more than their potential customers. I'd stay again....if the price was right.

Stayed in their apartment between 22 Jan - 25 Jan with my spouse & a 2 year old kid.

Location : We took a metered cab from the airport . It is a 45 mins run approximately depending on traffic . Fare would be approx 200THB , there is a 50THB fee you need to pay over & above the meter. It is legit & there is a huge notice of the same at the airport itself.

Tip : Insist on going on meter as the driver may try to ask for a fixed amount.

It is a 15 mins walk from the apartment to Asok BTS. The apartment offers complimentary tuk tuk service which can be availed . They drop you right across the BTS street.

Tip : The pick up point for the tuk tuk service is near Little Italy restaurant which is just near the Shell gas station.

Stores :- There are loads of 7-11 stores in a 5 min walk radius.

Rooms : They were clean , spacious enough for a family of 3. It had all the necessary amenities in the room.

We were on the 09th Floor. Of what i understood is that the families were mostly put on the higher floors. It was quiet room.

Proximity to Soi Cowboy : - Though it is a barely 5 min walk to soi cowboy it really is not a cause for concern. Actually there are a few massage services offered bang opposite the hotel which at first sight may worry you but later realized they are doing their stuff & do not interfere with families. Yes they do call out to stags walking across their shop but that is about it.

Yes there are guests who bring in friends from the bars but as i said they are generally on the lower floors.

Elevator : The elevator has a distinct odor in it, but i guess you can ignore it cos it is just for a few minutes.

Staff : Housekeeping , Bell Boy , Tuk Tuk Driver , Front Desk are all extremely helpful & friendly.

Safari Park : It is again an approximately 45 mins run by cab from the apartment. You can end up paying 300THB plus tolls. Tolls are to be paid by the passenger.

All in all it is a great budget apartment & complete value for money. Would recommend it to others who are on a budget & definitely will stay there if i travel back again.

Room Tip: Higher Floors for Quiet Family Rooms
