Came here with two friends who had never had any sort of Mediterranean food before; we ordered one of the combination platters (with lamb and beef), fries as well as a salad. It didn't look like much coming to the table - I thought the portion sizes looked small, but they were actually pretty filling! Service was a little odd but food was great, definitely satisfied the hummus craving (and the falafel craving I never thought I had) I've been having since I left the US.

Will try getting takeout next time to see how that goes.

Thank Beth W

We ordered a platter of veggie starters that had hummus, banaganoush, falafel and a couple other things. Instead of being served in small bowls or separately, it came as four falafel balls in the middle of the plate, with four different dips around it and salad surrounding the whole thing. Pretty soon it all became a bit of a mishmash.

Would have been nicer with a bit of separation between the different things on the platter.
Barring that though, food was nice. Not too expensive either.

The best (maybe the only) place to go in Taipei for great middle eastern food. I love the falafel and the hummus here, and the salads are excellent also. Friendly staff and casual ambiance. Rare to have some real authentic foreign food in Taipei since it is often localized, but not at Sababa!

The food is quite nice , recommend you try the hummus and yogurt sauce . The pita bread was ok . I went early but the meat was sold out . It's a really small restaurant , so I advise you to do a reservation , or better order take out .

Went to this restaurant as a group of four women with four babies under the age of 2. The staff were very accommodating and friendly. The food was excellent - falafel pita was huge and delicious, very filling for the money. Worth the visit!
