“Great place to wonder around on a rainy weekend”
Reviewed August 18, 2013

If you're in Taipei and looking for things to do on a rainy weekend this is a great option because you can wander between most of the buildings without getting soaked. It is an artsy area with assorted free and paid exhibits. Check out the free exhibit of bronze sculptures called: Theatre of Absurdity, running till 4-Sep-2013. The are many cool little coffee shops (try the Creative Hotspot tucked way in a corner that is almost impossible to find), great restaurants and small shops that sell interesting things. This place is very kid friendly with assorted art activities for both adults and kids. Plenty of interesting photo opportunities while you stroll between the old warehouses.

By the way, this is very close to the Guang Hua Digital Plaza (Taipei's electronic market). It is just 3 to 4 minute walk between the two, so you can enjoy both on a weekend afternoon.

“In merge into the fun arty side of Taipei”
Reviewed August 7, 2013

Weekend noon/afternoon is a good time to visit with booth set up selling locally design and produced goods. Be it from handicraft to home bake muffin, this is where you can relax and enjoy exhibitions or festival which may be on every now & then

“A jewel of the city.”
Reviewed July 30, 2013

This is one of the best spots in Taipei to just wander. Cool little restaurants, shops, and music venues. Every week seems to have a different cultural event to enjoy, a few of my favorites were African cultural week and Scandinavian design festival. Al ciccetto is a great Tapas restaurant in the park which I frequent for some nice eats and a bottle of red.
Under the bridge beside the park there is a happening basketball court, skaeboard park, dance competition area and every second Sunday from 3-6 there are even hip-hop DJs.

“A Gem. Right in the middle of bustling Taipei City”
Reviewed July 24, 2013

A must-visit if you are into arts, independent films or you simply like old buildings. The place was a wine factory from the early 20th century. Now, it serves as Taipei’s primary creative arts center and a hosting ground for Taiwan’s most significant cultural activities.
