It is always nice to come back to the Green Tara. Mr. Giri, the hotel manager is thoughtful and helpful, making all of our reservations for air and bus travel. The rooms are clean and comfortable, with views of either Lake Fewa or the magnificent Annapurna Range. Rooms range from simple doubles to suites with a mini-bar and bathtub. The water is always hot, which is rare in Nepal.
The rooftop has very nice views and is a nice place to watch the birds, especially at dusk and dawn. There are quiet balconies which are a good place to use the wi-fi and catch up with the world and the internet.
We recently recommended the Green Tara to a first time visitor to Nepal. She reported back that Mr. Giri took very good care of her, especially since she had twisted her ankle. He made sure she got a lower room and recommended many side trips for her enjoyment. P
Pokhara is a lovely town with lots to offer and the Green Tara is convenient to many delicious restaurants and night spots while being far enough off the road to be quiet. I enjoy sitting by the Lake at Gauri Ghat and watching the world slip by - just a short walk from the Green Tara.

Room Tip: Ask for either a mountain or a lake view - your choice.

These is a very nice smaller hotel, within a walking distance of fewa lake. The rooms were clean, their was heat and hot water. The manager was incredibly helpful: he arranged for airport transport both way.
We'll definitely stay here again if ever back in pokhara.

I stayed in green tara hotel 4 years ago
it is a tourist standard hotel.
when i returned for trekking in november 2017 i was pleased to discover that the service is still great & the staff always take care of guests & can arrange any local trips & tourist requirements
rooms are clean & many rooms have mountain views
green tara is in a central lakeside location but is quiet & peaceful
the hotel is also great value for money

Room Tip: try to get a room with view of himalaya mountain range...which is very nice

We stayed there for 2 nights after hectic journey from KTM and feel very good to see rooms.
Spacious rooms and toilets and is approx 100 mtr away from main road so rooms are quiet.

Staff was very helpful and we feel like family atmosphere.
Food was good enough

Comfortable, spacious room and bathroom near Phewa Lake. It is in a side road away from the main street so it is quiet. Rooftop has glimpse of The Annapurnas. Hotel is very responsive in replying messages. Location is at Central Lakeside with a nice stroll to the heart of town. Breakfast is at 6.30am so you have time to grab a bite before catching a bus out of town. Wifi is good.

Room Tip: Ask for a high floor room with The Annapurnas view (note there is no lift).
