The full day itinerary is sold as including Entoto mountain, a church, a museum, Shola market, plus lunch and coffee. This is a bit ambitious as we didn't get to fit in a museum (as the timing is tight if you also book the Wine Tasting) which was disappointing. Feedback has been provided to Go Addis to modify the itinerary or the timing. If you've spent any time in African countries before, you can definitely skip the market unless you're looking to buy something specific.
The guide Birhanu was good, as well the general information provided at each stop. He was also very knowledgeable and happy to answer any questions.
The Wine Tasting was nice as you are exposed to the new Rift Valley local wine brand which is actually very good. The downside is it's not a tasting as you would expect, where multiple wines are open for your small sampling - they get you to choose 3 entire bottles which are opened for you to taste, then you go home with 3 open bottles. Feedback has also been given on improving this. The tasting is awkward if it ends up being just you on the tour as you sit there drinking alone at 3pm.
The local lunch and Food Tour were pretty good, and helped to redeem Ethiopian food for me which I previously didn't enjoy. The tour was nice to expand the local repertoire which is typically just injera.
