The full day itinerary is sold as including Entoto mountain, a church, a museum, Shola market, plus lunch and coffee. This is a bit ambitious as we didn't get to fit in a museum (as the timing is tight if you also book the Wine Tasting) which was disappointing. Feedback has been provided to Go Addis to modify the itinerary or the timing. If you've spent any time in African countries before, you can definitely skip the market unless you're looking to buy something specific.

The guide Birhanu was good, as well the general information provided at each stop. He was also very knowledgeable and happy to answer any questions.

The Wine Tasting was nice as you are exposed to the new Rift Valley local wine brand which is actually very good. The downside is it's not a tasting as you would expect, where multiple wines are open for your small sampling - they get you to choose 3 entire bottles which are opened for you to taste, then you go home with 3 open bottles. Feedback has also been given on improving this. The tasting is awkward if it ends up being just you on the tour as you sit there drinking alone at 3pm.

The local lunch and Food Tour were pretty good, and helped to redeem Ethiopian food for me which I previously didn't enjoy. The tour was nice to expand the local repertoire which is typically just injera.

Astonishingly knowledgeable, enjoyable and charismatic tour guide who went above and beyond to make everyone feel right at home in the city she loves. She took us to five different places (with a short 5-15 minute walk through the neighborhoods) where we ate/drank something different at each one. As she explained the background of each traditionally meaningful food or drink, she enthusiastically answered all our questions we threw at her. It is truly something for everyone to enjoy and I highly suggest this to any adventurous, social and/or culturally inquisitive tourist who wants to see and learn about the traditional cuisines of this extraordinary country.

I went on the full day tour with Dessi as our guide. The full day tour includes the 1/2 Day Highlight Tour (we went too Entoto mountain, St George church and the national museum) we also went to Tomoca for great ethiopian coffee and had a wonderful traditional ethiopian lunch. Our driver was very safe and friendly and our guide Dessi was amazing-very knowledgeable and friendly and happy to answer all of our questions about the sights and about ethiopia in general. I particularly enjoyed going round Shola market-the markets here are really hard to navigate without a guide and you won't know what the produce is without being told so was great to come here with Dessi-picked up some lovely souvenirs too!

In the afternoon it was the food tour, we had injera and chickpea stew, fried fish, beef, fresh fruit juice, and of course more coffee! You would never find the places that Dessi took us to if you were on your own, they were all great local places and the food was delicious! Go Addis make sure that they take us to clean places too so none of us were ill after sampling various different food which can be a problem in ethiopia.

As a lone female traveller this tour was great for me as it meant I felt safe to explore the city from a locals perspective, the other people on the tour were lovey and friendly so it was a really fun day exploring Addis and meeting new people. Our guide Dessi was brilliant.

I cannot recommend this tour enough!

We had a fantastic time with Genet as she led us to some real hidden gems for a panorama of Ethiopian food. Shiro, fish, juice, coffee, and tibs were all delicious, and Genet was a wonderful guide, teaching us a few key Amharic phrases and answering all of our many questions with warmth and enthusiasm. It was the perfect way to spend a late afternoon/early evening on our first day in Addis.
