The Royal Suite is a piece of art. Everything is amazing. Karima also is the best like concierge and arranging the tours for you. The restaurants also in the hotel with the show is a great experience.
Go to the desert, enjoyed the sunrise and the sunset and a camels ride. All Morocco was spectacular totally different to the rest of the world.

Room tip: Experience a luxury request the royal suite, you will think you are the sultan.

On our second visit to Marrakech we stayed here in the Shaherazad room, and we will definitely stay here when we make a third visit. We arrived approx. 10:00pm but were still seated in the adjoining restaurant where we enjoyed a lovely meal with entertainment, we were seated opposite a family of locals who were having such fun and were so welcoming it made a perfect start to the holiday. When we were ready to retire our cases had been taken to our room. Abdul is very helpful and never sleeps, Karima works through the day and was helpful with local knowledge and organising a couple of trips.
I had picked up a bug before we travelled and was quite poorly for half of the week, but Abdul and Karima were so caring, even bringing breakfast up to our terrace one morning, I wouldn't have wanted to be anywhere else.

Room tip: Shaherazad has it's own small private terrace.

Everything about this Riad is brilliant. Taxi collection from airport arranged by Riad then short walk as cars not accessible. Sturdy shoes would be useful. Lots of road digging going on in the minor roads. Our luggage was transported and we just followed behind. Welcome tea and cake on our arrival in Reception. Karima then came and sat with us and outlined all we needed to do if so desired. The map was very useful btter than the ones we had taken from our own guide books. She offered advise which we did follow up on. Riad so close to the main square and other sights. We ate in one evening which was delightful with entertainment throughout the evening. On entering our room, not quite as large as I expected but hey it was big enough with settee etc. and a lovely gesture of a large bowl of fruit and cake and water in the fridge. Huge shower. Terracotta/plum and cream tiles, old style. All the plumbing worked. The staff, particularly Karima and the gentleman who served the breakfast with such style were delightful. They all were. We are already planning to go back next October. A huge thank you to you all for making our very short stay of 4 days such a pleasure. We have advised our daughter to book this Riad and shall recommend to all friends who are visiting Marrakech.

Room tip: No lift. Our room was on the first floor. No complaints.

We stayed for 3 nights in the Royal Suite and I have to say it's even more stunning than in the photos! The interior decor of the entire riad is palatial, beautiful tile work and carvings everywhere you look. We were warmly welcomed on arrival with a pot of mint tea and Moroccan cakes. There was also fruit and cakes in our rooms. The breakfast every morning was generous and they even catered for my son who is 'gluten free'. All the staff were very friendly, attentive and helpful. One lady in particular, Karima I think, gave us lots of useful advice and tips on how to get around the city. All the main attractions are within walking distance. I would also recommend the trip into the Atlas Mountains. My only regret is that we never went up on to the roof terrace! Good excuse to go back!! Truly exceptional experience.
