We really enjoyed our stay at Ryad Dar Ganou. The hotel was clean and comfortable and the staff were very kind and friendly. The hotel is very close to Jemaa el-Fnaa but is nice and quiet. We were presented with a great breakfast every morning, consisting of various breads, fresh juice and of course Moroccan mint tea!
Veronique accompanied us to the Jemaa el-Fnaa on our first day so we were shown our way around locally and could find our way back to the hotel. She also provided a map and book illustrating the various places we could visit during our stay. We visited during February which was a little cold for Marrakech, however the hotel was very accommodating and provided extra blankets. I visited with my sisters and father and we were all impressed and felt very welcomed. All in all, we were delighted with the hotel and would recommend staying here.

I had a cute little room with a balcony overlooking the courtyard. The riad is tucked way back in the alleys of the medina, but the directions they sent were spot on and let me right to the front door. After check-in, the owner showed me the quick back way to get to the main square. The owner was very nice and even accompanied me to find my friends the next day and negotiate with the taxi drivers. They also have a cute little dog that will come up and give you some loving.

The only thing I didn't like about the riad was the extremely small doors, which are difficult to navigate as a big guy with a big backpack. They did have a doorman who will help with the bags though.

We stayed at the Ryad Dar Ganou for a long weekend in November for my boyfriends 30th. Veronique was the perfect host, showed us how to get to the square and arranged trips for us with very little notice.
The Ryad is in a great location with a lovely roof terrace and a stones throw from Maison MK which we would strongly recommend for dinner.

We stayed in Riad Dar Ganou for our first night due to the Riad we booked from England having double booked our room - and we were so glad we did! The owner could not have been more helpful and welcoming, the Riad was beautiful, and the breakfast was amazing! By far the best in our time in Marrakech! The Riad is an original building, beautifully restored, and spotlessly clean. We were (needlessly) a little worried how to find our way back to the Riad when we went out that evening, but the owner walked us to the main square herself, and arranged for a local stallholder to watch out for us on the way back and walk us the last little bit to the Riad to ensure we didn't get lost (which she paid for herself, although we did tip!). We were disappointed to go back to our original Riad the following night! Lovely experience all round, and highly recommended.

Absuloutely loved our great stay with this welcoming, informative and caring couple, in this beautiful Riad. It made a wonderful stay for us in Marrakesh. The hosts go way beyond their remit, and we, and other guests benefitted enormously. Don't stay anywhere else in Marrakech! Wish I could live there!
