Excellent hotel with a great location in Marrakech. This riad offers a personal touch taking care of every guest request. Offers personalized service ranging from cooking classes, day trips around Marrakech, and spas. This hotel has excellent dining and great Moroccan food.

Room Tip: This is a boutique hotel where every room is different and has it's own personality.

We have been to many lovely hotels around the world, but this one made us want to leave a review, we had a fantastic time staying at Dar les cigognes It was an authentic, traditional & beautiful Moroccan hotel situated in the heart of the medina and only 15 minutes away from the famous Souks of Marrakesh. Our room was very comfortable, and the common areas were lovely. The location was convenient to many things we wanted to see.

The people that worked there really looked after us and went out of their way to ensure that our holiday was perfect..Specially Lamia and pierre ; they really made it extra special for us, collecting us from the airport, booking taxis and tables, she gave us a map with the best way to get in and out of the souk and the local museums and restaurants etc worth a visit. Helped us understand the local customs and nothing was too much trouble and always with a smile. We can't say enough positive stuff about this place. Definitely one of the most beautiful and welcoming places we've been. Thank you so much!

Room Tip: Eat at their restaurant

There are little words to describe how utterly amazing Dar Les Cigones is.... from the moment you arrive to the moment you leave you are in a state of enjoyment and engagement of dreamy luxurious care and attention. Pierre and his entire team make you feel truly at home and nothing is too much trouble. Having stayed in some of the worlds finest hotel to experience somewhere thats so much more than a hotel is truly hard to find.
The room, service and attention to detail was absolutely wonderful. I could not recommend the cooking class highly enough as its so much more than learning about Moroccan cuisine ... its truly engaging and enchanting.
Behind the doors of Dar les Cigones lies another world and its one that by far beats hands down the traditional hotel experience you can find in Marrakech. Dont be tempted or fooled by the usual names and suspects in town but chose to stay somewhere that takes you into the heart of Marrakech and every turn.
I cant compliment Pierre and the team enough on making an oasis...
Its exceptional.. enjoy

I am just writing to say how amazing our trip was and a huge thank you for organizing everything for us. I enjoyed every second of it. I loved how we did the more cultural side of Morocco and saw how people really live there.
This beautiful riad is located in the heart of the medina in area which is very local and not 'polluted' by tourism. The rooms are traditionally decorated to an extremely high standard and you will feel like you are paying guests in someone's amazing house.
One lady in the reception, La mia was really happy to help us plan our days she sorted out all our need including a guide who, given the shortness of our stay, was invaluable.
We could not have had a more enjoyable experience. Thank you all so very much.

We arrived in Marrakesh having booked another hotel but we had a cooking class booked with Pierre and his staff at Les Cigognes. We had a tough time with our initial accommodation and after several disappointments we decided to stem the problem and find somewhere better to stay. Best decision of the trip.

Les Cigognes is an absolutely stunning structure with luxurious furnishings and the friendliest of staffs. Pierre goes out of his way to provide useful information and dispel misinformation about the city and culture. The hammam was impeccable and the in house dining is Michelin quality. I would recommend a couples dinner in the drawing room as it is one of the most gorgeous settings I have seen.

I cannot recommend the cooking class enough. Overall it was the highlight of our trip and we shall certainly be back to see Pierre and his lovely staff and experience their gracious hospitality once more
