Owner description: Nicely designed and maintained gardens, similar to those of Generalife in Granada, Spain. It’s a good place to recoup from the intensity of the market atmosphere.

Wow what a beautiful place. It gets really busy we arrived just after 2.30pm and has to queue 30 mins or so just to get in. when we left at about 4.30pm there was no queue so suggest going at the this time.
The colours as you walk through are very beautiful. Bright and lots and of plants (obviously)
The fountain area by the house is vibrant but also really busy as everyone wants to get their photos.
Varying tickets to see the gardens, ysl house and Museme. We just chose the garden option which was enough for us.
Apart from the people it's very peaceful and easy to walk to from the city centre.
Just be wary on the walk back of locals befriending you. They know you've been to gardens as it's pretty much the only attraction that way. So if they ask how was the garden be polite but if they start saying today is a special holiday where you can visit a mosque... of course it isn't. Be polite but don't believe it.

Long-long waiting queue, relatively high entrance fee for almost nothing. Since there are a plenty of amazing place in Marrakech every minute here is a waste of time.

Beautiful garden in the middle of the city, great place to take refuge from the hot sun, lots of good plants to see and very nice and clean, a bit on the modern flair. The garden is NOT that large and can be crowded.

Queued for about 45 minutes to get in (entrance fee is 70 dirhams for foreigners). Stunning garden with an array of tropical plants, cacti, elegant architecture and beautiful contrasting colours- photo opportunities round every corner! We spent roughly one hour to thoroughly explore and it didn’t feel like you were in the centre of a busy city at all! There was no noise, only the sounds of the birds, and no dust, or fumes- it really is a paradise, perfect if you are in need of some relaxation. I would recommend bringing a book or sketch pad, as it would be lovely to read or draw whilst absorbing the amazing nature that surrounds you. Would 100% reccomend! The highlight of my trip

This is a lovely garden nestled in the heart of Marrakech. WIth beautiful local fauna and bright blue buildings, it makes for wonderful pictures. I suggest getting there at 8am when it opens to beat the crowds. If you arrive early you will avoid the lines, have the garden to yourself and enjoy the solitude of the surrounds. Don't miss the Berber Museum which is very well done and includes exhibits of the closes, tools, jewelry, musical instruments, etc. of the Berber people.
