Novotel is so average as 4 stars hotel ! the room was big but not clean enough !
Reception was not helpful, and they didn't help us !
view of the room was nice and we can see the medina !
its located is near old city and jama al fena , and you can go there by walking in 10 mins!

We stayed here for about 4 days , too bad the weather wasn't hot enough to swim in their beautiful pool. Plus as it's off season in March, there wasn't towel service or any kind of service at all. The property is very pretty though. Staff is ok , just ok . Food is very good , and services is ok depending on who you were talking to. The rooms were not clean at alll ... we travelled with a few others, and their rooms were not very clean at all. It may be a cultural thing -- i believe it's just the way things are here. So its not the end of the world, just keep some wipes with you!

This hotel was selected by a tour company as a part of our tour of Morocco.

Location - convenient to the medina as well as the modern town/Mohammed V Avenue with restaurants, clubs and shops within walking distance. If you prefer not to walk, the cab queue is just across the street and always had plenty of cabs available.

The room - spacious with a minibar sink, fridge and microwave, a desk, a chaise lounge/daybed, and a toilet room with extra sink that is separate from the bath/shower, which made it convenient when my husband and I were getting ready at the same time. The room had a very modern, clean if not sterile feel. Our room had a "Juliet" balcony and faced the street overlooking the bar/cafe area but was not what I would consider functional. The bar/cafe played music late until the night which made it hard to sleep after a busy day touring. The horse drawn carriages and other street noise could be heard throughout the night. Also, the bed is the absolute hardest bed I've ever experienced in a hotel, which may suit some but not for me. Lastly, we had problems getting the heat to work in the room; the fan was running but the room was not getting warmer.

Amenities - Free wifi is provided throughout the hotel, is fast and reliable, even in room. Breakfast was included in our rate and was adequate. The hotel staff was friendly and efficient. The pool area was attractive but, due to the time of year, I did not use. As with most hotels in Morocco, it is not a smoke-free hotel but smoke free rooms are available. While our room itself did not smell of smoke, the toilet room seemed to share the ventilation with a smoking room and, at times, reeked of smoke.

Room Tip: request a room with a pool view to avoid late night/early morning street noise.

Gate 1 Travel uses this hotel for their Morocco travel tours. We stayed here for a couple of nights and enjoyed our stay. The rooms are good but not large in size but functional. Their breakfast buffet was good but not great. They were slow to put out the breakfast items by 7 am. The eggs are served in hot ceramic dishes sunny side up (in which some were not quite done). We ate dinner on the outdoor patio and it was good. My friend enjoyed their fillet mignons. The pasta dish I had was adequate. This location is walking distance (about a 20 minute walk) to their major market area. Their wifi in the rooms is good. The rooms can get a little warm until the hotel switches to their A/C sometimes the spring/summer.

Room Tip: The rooms facing the main boulevard could be noisy unless you close the windows and patio door.

I enjoyed my stay despite very slow and rude service from the reception. (they should know that while serving the guest it is not nice to talk with bunch of other people from staff and let the guest wait)

Great swimming pool to relax after day in the city. Nice restaurant serving beer and wine as well as local couisine, but prices are on the expensive side. Rooms very spacious , nothing to complain about.
