I found this place via the TA site, and to all those (very few) that have given a bad review, what planet do you come from!
This is without a shadow of a doubt the best resto in Marrakech.. it is not a Moroccan resto, nor does it claim to be, it is the owners ideas of food that they have stuck to.. and because of this rightly has the no 1 spot.
The cocktails are the best I have ever tasted due to their use of mixology ( the hibiscus mojito is a masterpiece), but they also have the classics should you wish.
I was shocked when presented with the cocktail, that we had watched being created in front of me for 20 mins wondering what Harry Potter magic was being concocted, to me as a birthday gift in the house.. that type of thing will beat a critics review all week long.. the personal touch!
If in Marrakech you have to visit.. or even take a short weekend break just to visit.. it is worth the fare alone.. I will be back!

Visited last evening and food was excellent. Two great starters of avocado petals with grilled prawn and crab salad with shrimp sauce, followed by excellent salmon roasted with an almond crust and possibly the best beef fillet I ever tasted. The service from the young waiters was friendly and relaxed but at the same time professional, and the two young brother owners are cute and charming and bright: one wanted to discuss Brexit, in English! Wine choice was good, too.
Don't be alarmed by the approach and the bar on entry. Its too trendy for words and the youngsters enjoying the "mixology" almost put us oldies off, but once you get into the restaurant you will find people of more maturity.
Its not the cheapest restaurant in Marrakech but the food is certainly among the best. And the chef is 27. Amazing!
We will return, as soon as we can get a table....

Very interesting cocktails for a Muslim country. We started with the crab and then followed onto the prawn and avocado for main and beef and potatoes.
The food was well presented , great flavour and good size portion.
Lastly we had the trio of desserts and the citron dessert which was gorgeous .

We started with great cocktails and continued with fantastic starter (Foie Grass). It was sweet, sour, salty, ... a real fusion of different tastes. A real experience!
Then we continued with the Duck with was really delicious. We loved this restaurant!

Today we drived all the way from Fez. Before arriving at our accomodation we decided on having some nice food. Based on TA reviews Barometer seemed like a good choice. At first we were a little sad as the restaurant was fully booked. However they were very nice and accepted to serve us in the bar section. I enjoyed the duck and my friend ordered the Crying tiger. Both dishes were very tasty and they were decorated very well :)

All in all, we had a flawless experience. Thanks Barometer.
