We travelled here at the end of June. On arrival the hotel was clean and very welcoming. We didn't get to the hotel until 9.30pm so the fact the restaurant was open until 10.30pm was a massive bonus!

The room was very spacious and the hotel is spotless. There is always maintenance and cleaning being carried out.. this was a massive help when our air con decided not to work on day two and our floor was covered in water.

We usually went to put towels on the sunbeds around 8.30 and there was plenty of choice, even the one day we went at 10.00 and there was some available. There are plenty of activities being carried out around the pool and the waterpark is just across the road with plenty of sunbeds.. however the all inclusive doesn't apply here!

The only downfall for this hotel is the drinks as previously mentioned. You seem to be constantly waiting for drinks as the plastic cups don't fill anymore than a few sips. They also don't fill the cups which doesn't help the situation!

If you are checking out early, please note that they will cut your wrist band off for you meaning we couldn't have anymore drinks while waiting for our shuttle to the airport. Thankfully there is a shop in the hotel so we could get some water. We paid to check out late but wouldn't be ideal if we had a long wait by checking out at 12pm.

Overall a lovely hotel for a relaxing week away.

I went on a family holiday July 2017 to this hotel , booking it through a popular website which insisted this was a great family holiday destination, the initial welcoming was by a rude member of staff (Hanan) who we thought might be having a bad day so chose to ignore it, however this was the attitude of the entire reception team, who were always unpleasant, unhelpful and very rude, they never seem to want to even try and help instead they made rude comments back which we had to keep ignoring, towards the end of my stay I tried to give feedback to a member of staff at reception and he began to shout at me. overall I would like to say if you want or are expecting a 4/5 star hotel this isn't it , and if you are travelling with children I would suggest you stay away as they wouldn't even warm baby food for you or provide a kettle, the reception staff expect a tip for doing there job!!!
also the food is terrible (make the same thing everyday) , however the guest relations lady hafsa is the only shining light at the hotel, the rest of the hotel staff are pleasant but are restricted by the language barrier. I would strongly like advise the hotel manager to invest in better training and maybe give a pay rise to the reception employees so they don't expect a tip in return of a decent service .

We had an extremely nice holiday at Eden Andalou. The rooms were very clean and spacious and the food and drink was pretty good. The only really bad experience we had was when we booked a trip to the Ouzood waterfalls. We booked this through Hamza who called himself the Love holidays rep which I have subsequently found not true after speaking to Love holidays. We were told that the journey time would be less than 2 hours. We specifically asked the question as if it was any longer then we would not have gone. Hamza charged us £35 per person. We we went on the trip it took more than 3 hours to get there, we then had to negotiate over 600 steps to get down to the falls. Many of the other people on the trip really struggled and then we had to climb back up the steps in over 40 degrees heat. None of this was mentioned by Hamza when he sold us the trip. When we finally got back to the hotel after another 3 hours of travelling. We contacted Hamza to complain. Needless to say he promised to compensate us but this was not forthcoming. I also complained to Love holidays but they said it was nothing to do with them and was the responsibility of the hotel.

Kids absolutely loved this hotel due to its waterpark feature.. wish the pools were heated as they have got all the rest to keep kids entertained for hours... our kids still went but we had to get them out to avoid any colds.. and moved to the smaller heated pool which is situated in the main area of the hotel. The waterpark is seperate and we took the kids with us but staff seemed all very friendly and the general atmosphere is welcoming. The food although quite repetative there is lots of choice for everyone so it was worth being all inclusive as kids were happy and had choice of fries ..kebabs etc... they do have kids entertainment which was really handy.. and then they do try to have some evening entertainment for the adults although we missed this. The hotel is a bit far out from the mexina.. we did take the shuttle bus one way but beware we were being lured into a waiting taxi but i was adamant im not paying and well after waiting 15mins we went to reception who told us to wait it will arrive. Little do u know its already there waiting.. but all seemed a bit fishy like they all wanted us to get the taxi and not the bus. So anyway after the clear understanding from reception well she phoned him to wake up and bring the bus to the entrance...Well we had to get the taxi back one way anyway as the shuttle bus timings are not friendly either. So beware book the shuttle bus in advance to avoid disappointment as for the day time bus u HAVE to book the night before. Aside from this.. great gem of a hotel.

Dear valued guest,

Sunny greetings from Marrakech!
Thank you so very much for your generous comments following your recent stay at Eden Andalou 5* Aquapark & Spa.

We are glad that you enjoyed our service, Aquapark and each part of our peaceful and welcoming place!
We are 9 km from the city center, but how nice it is for our guests to have a suite of 48 m2, a garden / orchard of 7 hectares, 4 swimming pools, pétanque, mini football and beach volleyball , A jogging track, a mini-club on 1 hectare, a SPA, 6 Riads etc ... Advantages that you can not have in the city center and which are much more numerous than the 15 mn spent on our bus to reach Free of charge the place Djemaa El Fna.
Taxis are not the responsibility of the hotel, we also have a transfer service for this purpose, for guests not wishing to use the shuttle.

We hope to have the pleasure to welcome you again!
Again, we thank you for your trust.
Sincerely,
Sonia Anasse

We found this hotel to be very satisfactory. The rooms are so big and comfortable, all rooms having a seating area as well as large bedroom area. We chose to have a room on 1st floor as we thought it might be more secure then the ground floor rooms, which open out onto a nice terrace area with table and chairs.
The food was lovely and they do try to give a different meal time.
We spent most of out stay at the pool side, where there is plenty of sun loungers (although i would suggest to get down early and place your towels on the ones you want).
Towels are provided for the pool and you need to ask at reception for a voucher, which you hand in to the towel hut and they will give you back a voucher on return of towels. So you can have clean towels for the pool as often as you want.
The pool is lovely and is aprox 4'6" in deep all over, so even nervous swimmers can feel confident to swim to the centre.
There is an aqua park as wll as the pool, but we did not use it, as we were too lazy, just sleeping on the loungers in the shade. It reached 39 degrees when we were there in June.
Aqua Park looks good though and didn't seem too busy when we were there, so no long queues to use the slides.
The staff were all really friendly and helpfull and strive to give good service.
The hotel has just appointed a new manager for the dinning area and he is is the best, his name is Mohammed and is very experienced and friendly, absolutely nothing is too much trouble for him. I always looked forward to bumping in to him to have a natter and joke.
For me given the price they charge, this is a great value location and thanks to dedicated staff i would certainly reccommend you stay here.

One tip though. I always tipped the waiters (20 Dirham = £about £1.50) at the beginning of my meals, this saves you having to go get drinks from the bar your self and also i noitced you get bigger servings if the waiters get them for you. also they makes sure you want for nothing.

Room Tip: If you have children i would reccommend ground floor rooms, so they can just run out to the pool or play outside.
