It is a beautiful Riad! The employees Anne and her colleague are really positive and full of energy. The food was taste, but quite expensive if you compare prices in Fez. But it is really worth to see the interior space.

This Riad was exactly what we expected from the pictures, a beautifully detailed and ornate classical style building full of colour and character, with incredible detail throughout the entire building. The rooms are beautiful and the beds incredibly comfortable and suprisingky sound proof, we couldn’t hear a single thing from our neighbours, the terrace (top floor) or the ground floor. The top floor terrace is beautiful and calm, with an enclosed room for breakfast and dinner both with great views. The Riad is very easy to get to by taxi as it is along a main road just within the walls of the medina. The staff are lovely and fun and the manager is extremely attentive and always polite. The food is very good and the Christmas dinner was huge! I would recommend this Riad to anyone who wants a more classical Riad with a very authentic feel with personable staff.

I didn’t know what to expect when I arrived in Fez for the first time, but staying with the Riad Fez Maya was the best. Exceptionally clean, beautiful and super friendly. The food is amazing too. The Riad itself has the most intricate detailing, making it the most beautiful Riad I’ve seen. They welcomed our family, including our child with warmth and happiness. So glad we came! Perfect place to visit over Christmas, or any time of the year. Definitely coming back.

Room tip: All rooms are stunning. Website pictures are very similar to real life.

Had two night stay at this highly decorated riad. Every corner is so beautiful. The balcony had the best view in Fes. It was lovely to have breakfast there.

Location-wise, it is close to the old medina. There is a public car park about 10 mins walk away to leave the car overnight.

Our suite is spacious and clean, made the stay very comfortable and relaxing.

Minor issues with our stay was that the shower was clogged. It was reported but unfortunately was not attended to. Our room setting was romantic, so was a bit dark. The reception for the TV was not great most of the time, but the WiFi reception was always available.

Most important of all, the team has been so attentive and friendly, and has made our stay feels like home. We will stay at this riad again next time when we are in Fes.

Had two nights here in Fes, wonderful Medina, but that's for another review. Stayed for two nights in Riad Fes Maya, a highly praised on multiple websites.

In fact, it fantastic. You can find yourself enjoying the Fes Medina experience in this Riad.

Enjoy the sunset/sunrise over the terrace of the Riad, with romantic decor. Actually I prefer the of view of Medina from our Riad rather than the top down distanced view from the hill tops. Can Google the view from the rooftop, the Medina is just within your reach.

Have a hamman and massage to ease off the fatigue from your long journey either from the 8 hour drive from Merzouga or a day wall from the Souks.

Dinners were reasonable and do try the local wine to go with the Targine. You can experience the Moroccan pallets, vivid and vibrant.

The Decor..... It's like your own museum of the relics and Moroccan architecture. The bronze lightings were unique, tried to find it from the Medina all day but couldn't find anything close. One less decorative piece for my collection at home.

Anna, the Riad manager was always friendly and ready day and night to provide caring services and helpful advice for traveling in Fes. All the staffs were friendly and helpful too.

Be ready to be lost and immersed in Fes Medina style in this Riad.
