For a tourist trap, the prices were surprisingly reasonable, but the pleasantries end there. The food was mediocre and the atmosphere was smoky and the restaurant small (nothing like the beautiful open space you see in the movie). Most frustrating was the service which was extremely slow and ineffective. Our table wasn't set with napkins and we had to ask at least 5 times to get them (and it was only at the end of the meal that we did). Similarly, we had to ask multiple times for water and were never served bread (which the male servers did for a table of all females that they seemed to favor). The server also missed putting in one person's entree.
We visited because one person in our group is a diehard Casablanca movie fan. Besides the ability to say you were at Rick's Cafe, there's nothing else about this restaurant to brag about.
