A wide variety of goods though felt after a while it was very repetitive. Some excellent quality items, some appearing mass produced. The food markets were excellent!

This market is only about 1/2 block long, and most of the vendors sell of lot of the same stuff. Paid 42 dirhams for a pair of beautiful leather slippers (babouches), and 200 dirhams for a nice leather purse. Although I had read to bring dirhams in cash, the merchants were also accepting euros, and some were ok with US$'s. The tricky part was getting here. The taxi driver we had kept adding onto the destinations we wanted, without specifying the price, no matter how often we asked him. A solo traveller and a couple took a taxi to the Habous for the agreed upon price of 10 euros, only to be told upon arrival that they owed 30 euros - 10 for each passenger. Bottom line: some taxi drivers seem to be out to fleece tourists. Not a pleasant experience. Needed 2 drinks afterwards just to stop feeling stressed.

A wonderful shopping experience for craft gifts. The wooden items are made with cedar wood of good quality. A definite must.

It pales in comparison to the other market, but it's a good enough place to see if you're in the area.

Overall it was alright here. I had a better shopping experience in the souks in Marrakech. Mostly a lot of fake brands being sold here, at higher costs than in Marrakech - Same deal however, store owners yelling out to you and following you trying to convince you to by stuff.
