This is more than a landmark, it's a green lung amidst the concrete. Cerro Juana Laínez is a great spot for birding, jogging, walking your dogs or just to catch a mouthful of fresh air. On the top there's a monument built after world war II as a reminder that there's no way to peace, but through peace itself. It's legend reads "Paz en la tierra a los hombres de buena voluntad" (peace on Earth to men of good will)."
