Just perfect- I stayed in one of the cabanas with a kitchenette. It had everything I needed, and was well-located, quiet, and private. Gertraud was a very kind and helpful host, understanding and patient about some issues with my credit card, and was readily available to offer help or advice about the Caye. It was very reasonably priced and I would return the next time I visit—Staying there was a big reason I enjoyed my trip so much.
We had a great time at Ocean Pearle! The rooms were cozy, and the commons area was awesome. There was a kitchen with appliances and coffee, a reading area, and a table with comfy chairs we used to play cards and hang out. Outside was even better. The place had a lovely courtyard packed with interesting medicinal plants, pretty flowers, birds, a cute iguana, hammocks, and a shady area to chill out. The location was great as well, close to the split and a couple of great restaurants (check out Enjoy Bar and Restaurant). The owner was interesting as well. She told us stories about the plants in her garden and the island, and was friendly and welcoming.
Very well kept and comfortable place to stay. Gertrude takes excellent care of her property as well as her guests. My brother has been coming to Caye Caulker for years with tours and always stays with Gertrude! Thoroughly enjoyed my stay!

My friend and I have stayed here for the second time and we loved it again. The hotel is a little down the island and off the noisier part. The place is simple, but clean, comfortable and very affordable. We will definitely stay here again next time we come to the Caye.
We looked at other places around and this was perfect for what we wanted. On the "good side" of the island, close to the split and plenty of restaurants.
Simple accomodations, but clean and comfortable enough. Hot water showers, A/C on request which worked great, and nice property to lounge around and have a beer at the end of a long day.
For 47.50 $US/night, you can't get better!
