Iguana Reef Inn is absolutely incredible - it is definitely the best spot on the island. It is located right on the beach, with a stunning view of the sunset and a lovely bar. The marine life here is amazing - the stingrays come right up to the shore every afternoon, providing an opportunity to interact with them that I doubt you could get anywhere else in the world. It also has nurse sharks and sea horses which you can see each day. The hotel itself is beautiful, and we had the best nights sleep of our whole trip there! We are so sad to leave, and I honestly could not recommend Iguana Reef Inn enough.

I had an amazing 3 nights at Iguana reef. Probably the best beds i've slept in on my travels. The room was spotless, had everything one could need and more!
Iguana reef has, in my opinion and I'm sure many others the best beach on the Island. It has a very relaxed chilled and safe vibe where as a single female traveller you dont get bothered or hassled when sunbathing. The owner has gone above and beyond for the marine life that inhabit the area, including a sea horse habitat and sting rays that come daily to the beach for feeding. If you get the chance to experience this amazing sight, makesure you respect the animals as they are wild and can react if felt threatened or not treated correctly. So please listen to the staff that are feeding them and be respectful as its all for your safety and the animals.

We loved this hotel, it exceeded our expectations (for all of the reasons stated in other reviews) and we've already booked to go back next year. Having just started a Travel Counsellors franchise business, I will be recommending Iguana Reef to all clients travelling to Belize.
